I sent a feline stool sample with visible signs of worms. The results came back negative. This is not the first time that one of my pets has been ill, stool sample is sent in, comes back negative. The vet informs me that, the sample should state a specific kind of test.I called Antech to learn more about the lab testing process. I explained to her that there were worms in the sample and that I wanted to understand what I should do to get better results from the lab that i keep paying for. She told me to talk to the vet and hung up. This was 'Customer Service'. - Marilyn Ferster

Antech Diagnostics Introduce

For pet owners throughout the vast and vibrant state of Texas, the health and well-being of their beloved animal companions are always a top priority. While many are familiar with the local veterinary clinics that provide direct care, there's a crucial, behind-the-scenes player that empowers these clinics to deliver accurate diagnoses and effective treatments: veterinary diagnostic laboratories. In Irving, Texas, Antech Diagnostics stands as a significant facility within this vital sector, serving as a cornerstone for veterinary professionals across the region. This article aims to shed light on Antech Diagnostics, explaining its role in pet healthcare and why its presence is so important for local veterinarians and, by extension, for Texas pet owners.

Antech Diagnostics is not a veterinary clinic that provides direct care to pets. Instead, it is a leading veterinary diagnostic laboratory that partners with veterinarians to offer comprehensive testing services. Think of them as the analytical backbone for your local vet, providing the crucial data needed to understand what's happening internally with your pet. When your veterinarian takes blood, urine, tissue, or stool samples from your furry (or feathered, or scaled) friend, these samples are often sent to specialized labs like Antech for in-depth analysis. This critical step enables veterinarians to confirm diagnoses, monitor treatment effectiveness, and screen for potential health issues long before symptoms appear. For over three decades, Antech has been at the forefront of veterinary diagnostics, continually advancing their technology and expanding their service offerings to meet the evolving needs of the veterinary community. Their presence in Irving, TX, provides convenient access to their extensive testing capabilities for thousands of veterinary practices across Texas and beyond.

Veterinary clinics benefit from this central location, ensuring that samples can be quickly and reliably sent to the lab, and results can be returned promptly, allowing veterinarians to act decisively in patient care. The facility is part of a commercial complex, designed for laboratory operations and logistical efficiency, ensuring that the critical work of diagnostics is performed in a precise and controlled environment.
