Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
My small dog, Tony, was bitten by a neighbor's dog. He's better now. Theo was a huge help. Her caring service was greatly appreciated. Banfield fit me in without an appointment.
May 15, 2025 · michael frohlichI had scheduled an appointment for my dog at 5:30pm because that's the only time they have in-room appointments. I get a call 30 mins before the appointment from the receptionist saying that the doctor (Miranda Freeman) wanted to see what the appointment was about and if it was a routine appt, because they were about to close at 6pm. I said it was to have a growth on his leg examined. The doctor decided to then cancel my appointment because it was 'too late' for that, although my appointment was within working hours. She just wanted to get out of there early. Will now be taking my dog somewhere else to be checked out since the doctor showed such little level of care.
May 18, 2025 · Daphne LefranAfter reading the reviews of this location, I was hesitant to bring my dog here. I have been loyal to the Saltillo location for years but they closed down this year. I scheduled my appointment on the app, got a confirmation email and then a staff member called before my appointment to confirm. Everyone was polite and I felt in the loop after I dropped my dog off. He was there for a few hours but I understand they were busy this day. I don’t have any complaints about the service and will bring my dog back for his dental cleaning. Thanks to the staff at this location!
Apr 28, 2025 · Claire HedlundThis is one of the WORST Banfield locations I've ever been to, in any state! Not only are the staff (maybe not the actual vets but the initial screeners) completely unprofessional and seemingly unqualified, but they consistently mess up the administrative portion of the job as well. They do not call to follow up on prescription updates when they say they do, they do not send prescriptions when they say they will, and finally when I told them I would come in to pick it up, they claimed "they must have given it to somebody else". Further, on one of my first visits there, I signed up for the Banfield package and they claimed they didn't see it and charged me an $80 visit which should have been include in the package I has already bought.DO NOT GO HERE. Horrible experience.
Mar 05, 2025 · Tommy HaskelPerhaps the most unknowledgeable, unhelpful veterinarian team I have ever taken my pet to, except for 1 or 2 people. My cat got teeth pulled, and the doctor who performed the surgery was unable to answer my questions before and after the surgery. She sent my cat home with blood on his neck and back- blood on the mouth, I get, but on the rest of him?! Were you wiping your hands on him?! She had the receptionist go over post care instructions with me- which he did not, handed me my cat back with the carrier open, forgot to give me the post-care medicine, and interrupted our check-out conversation to have a full conversation with another customer. During the follow up, I asked about my cat's stitches and the vet tech told me he didn't have any. He did. A few minutes later she said 'oh yeah I guess he does have stitches'. Unsure where this team was hired from but I would not recommend to bring your pets here.
