It’s been a little over a week since our visit and his ailments are clearing up. They were also very clear on breaking down our charges for our visit. Keep up the awesome work!
August 26 · Oliver FuhrmanThis is my third Banfield I’ve been to in 7 years. Unfortunately, the other two locations closed down due to restructuring of the company so I would relocate accordingly. Overall, extremely satisfied and happy until I came to the Lombard, Banfield.Disorganized, From the moment you go in it seems the whole objective is to sell you and up charge you items. Selling some protection for the teeth and telling me the dog would not have to brush his teeth for six months makes absolutely no sense because of this was such a great option. Why wouldn’t humans have it? When people say no thank you it’s because they’re not interested and shouldn’t be treated differently.Offering nausea medication’s is fair if there’s a history of nausea and vomiting, anticipated significant narcotic use or excessive nitrous oxide supplementation during the Anesthetic course. My dog has never had vomiting after a procedure And he vomited multiple times, which I guess you could always attribute to possibly the Anesthesia however I am an anesthesiologist and this makes no sense. That’s fine. I assumed it’s just bad luck on his end until he had three days of watery diarrhea.Selling pills for the liver due to elevated liver enzymes doesn’t make sense and I never even received a copy of the labs that were supposedly off. My guess this would be the next Banfield to close
June 10 · Abed RahmanDeserve 0 stars. This is a complaint. My pet Georgia was at the Lombard/Downers Grove location on March 25th at 9 am for an Echogram. As I was sitting in the waiting area, I heard her crying in pain. Every time I bring her for any services, I let them know she's very tender at the areas of her legs, and they have to hold her like a football. She is very tiny and fragile. That morning, I told Caden ( front desk) the same thing, as how to hold her when he took her to the back. Luckily, I stayed instead of dropping her off. When I heard her crying, I approach the desk and ask Caden why she was crying, his response" they giving her the test", I ask another associate who is a regular staff member and is familiar with Georgia, why was she crying .. same answer. Once the associate who was assisting the Echo Contractor brought Georgia to me, I asked her why she was crying... she stated, " we had to turn her on her side for the test." I explain she is fragile, and that's why she was crying in pain because they were hurting her. To this day, I can't pick her up. She cries. I scheduled an appointment with another animal hospital to examine her. I have been a client of Banfield for 18 years with different fur babies. I am extremely upset about this. They treated her as if they were not aware of her fragile body and maneuvering her body while they were hurting her. Basically, they force her body to turn on her side for the test. She is a mini toy poodle. Once the hospital let me know what is actually wrong with her and it stemmed from her treatment at Banfield, I will definitely email customer service again with the results. I pray nothing is seriously wrong. This is so heartbreaking.
April 06 · Mrs. TMy Kitty and I had our first visit here this week and I was extremely happy with the service provided by Caiden (sp?) when checking in. He was SO kind, welcoming and comforting. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything so I could easily understand all the details regarding the visit, insurance and also went through care plans offered. He even got up and showed me his product picks for dental care! WONDERFUL above and beyond customer service!The doctor was fine, he was clear and confident in his assessment after exam, I just wish he maybe looked at her injury a little closer.Unfortunately the nurse who did the intake was horrible. Not friendly at all, cut me off numerous times, didn’t acknowledge my pet and had such an off putting attitude. Maybe find another line of work?9/10 Thanks Banfield
