However, it's also important to consider the feedback from the community, as the experiences of other pet owners can provide valuable insights. The provided reviews highlight a significant disparity in client experiences. While one review praises a specific veterinarian for being "excellent and extremely compassionate," it also details a very negative experience with a front desk staff member, leading to a sense of frustration and a "complete lack of empathy." Another review describes a "negligent" and "unprofessional" experience with a fragile case, citing a lack of care and competence from staff. These mixed reviews suggest that while some individual providers at the clinic may be highly skilled and compassionate, there can be inconsistencies in the overall patient experience. This is a critical factor for pet owners who value consistent, compassionate, and professional care from every member of the team. For Texans weighing their options, it's important to consider these varied experiences when deciding if this specific location meets their expectations for both medical expertise and customer service.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I wish i could give NO STARS to this practice and Candase but google wont let me so here is a 1 star for our zero star of the day Candase. The vet was excellent and extremely compassionate in handling my very owner protective dog.The lady Candase at front desk only made things worse. I had to repeat the same information multiple times because she wasn’t paying attention and wasting my time. She looked visibly annoyed, rolling her eyes, and made faces while processing the bill. I had to tell her to explain the bill breakdown and charges which i feel should be done pro actively done. all she was interested in doing was to get me out of there. it was such an uncomfortable experience to deal with her. I have always had the most pleasant interactions at this location with Becca ,Caitlyn and everyone until 04/05/2025.Never come across an awful person like CANDASE at W plano !!!!!While I appreciate the vet’s care and professionalism, it is just frustrating how the rest of the team that day showed a complete lack of empathy, and basic courtesy. I left feeling discriminated and extremely concerned about how other pets might be handled here if they are ignorant about the most important details.
April 09 · Mny MngrAbsolutely unacceptable experience — I will never trust this clinic again. My cat, who is being evaluated for a heart condition (HCM), had to undergo two blood draws because the clinic sent his original sample to the wrong lab and let it expire. That alone is beyond negligent. But what followed was even worse. When we returned for the second blood test — a physically and emotionally difficult process for any cat, let alone one with a heart issue — the vet didn’t even show up. Instead, two inexperienced assistants were sent in to perform the blood draw. They clearly lacked the skill and preparation, struggling to find a vein, and didn’t even bring basic supplies like a pressure pad or bandage. We had to hold our stressed-out cat and wait while they left to find supplies. For a clinic that claims to care about animal health, this showed a complete lack of compassion, training, and professionalism — especially for a cardiac patient. There was zero urgency or care in handling a delicate case.My trust in this clinic is completely gone. You failed my cat, and you failed us. I hope you take this feedback seriously and train your staff properly before another pet is put at risk.
July 20 · Sepideh ShahsavaraniBig thank you to Candise, Caitlyn, and Dr. Mendoza for taking such great care of my fur babies today! 🐶🐱It was my first time visiting this Banfield location and I couldn’t be happier with the amazing level of service, transparency, communication, and hospitality of the team they have here! They were more than happy to answer all of my questions regarding the safety and health of my beloved pets during every step of their check-up today.I look forward to visiting these wonderful folks regularly so they can make sure my three boys (pictured) are living their best life 🙏🏼
December 30 · Jacob PakThe most incompetent establishment. And team of people I’ve dealt with in a while. For starters if you talk to 2 different employees you’ll get 2 different pieces of information. Talk to 3 you get 3. For instance lady told us to get up at 8 in the morning for the next lady to say they couldn’t even do the surgery and that if they could we were supposed to be up at 7. Then we were told he’d be done at 3:30. Then they called and said give them an hour then called right back and said they were done we got there. And they still weren’t done. The fees are crazy. They say they don’t do surgeries the same day and that they need an extra day to “get to know the animal” which is obviously bs the true reason is cause they charge you a visitation fee and want you to show up as many times as they can milk you that 70 F ING DOLLARS
May 03 · JumoABSOLUTELY.. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT... where do I start, unfortunately I do not have time to write about my experience here. I never write reviews, but I feel that this place deserves one.. 0 star I would rate! From initial check in to checkout . Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time or your pets. I'll close this, there recommendations is Xrays and observation ( Hip.Displacatia) there cost starting at $500 plus... other vets o called is $167..Rude C.S. / 30 min to check in cause they couldn't verify my puppy plan I purchased) btw I was still billed. Lack of compassion/ uncomfortable experience I have ever felt. I have been a pet owner my whole life so I am not new to dealing w Veterinarian Clinics.. I have to stop here because I'm starto. Get upset again. Having a reminisce about my experience with this place. Do yourself a favor once again run from this place? Terrible, terrible. I feel that this review does no justibestest to what my experience was with this place.
