I wish i could give NO STARS to this practice and Candase but google wont let me so here is a 1 star for our zero star of the day Candase. The vet was excellent and extremely compassionate in handling my very owner protective dog.The lady Candase at front desk only made things worse. I had to repeat the same information multiple times because she wasn’t paying attention and wasting my time. She looked visibly annoyed, rolling her eyes, and made faces while processing the bill. I had to tell her to explain the bill breakdown and charges which i feel should be done pro actively done. all she was interested in doing was to get me out of there. it was such an uncomfortable experience to deal with her. I have always had the most pleasant interactions at this location with Becca ,Caitlyn and everyone until 04/05/2025.Never come across an awful person like CANDASE at W plano !!!!!While I appreciate the vet’s care and professionalism, it is just frustrating how the rest of the team that day showed a complete lack of empathy, and basic courtesy. I left feeling discriminated and extremely concerned about how other pets might be handled here if they are ignorant about the most important details. - Mny Mngr

What is worth choosing

When selecting a veterinary care provider in Texas, it is crucial to consider a practice that aligns with your needs and values. Banfield Pet Hospital is known for its **convenience and comprehensive range of services** as a general veterinary practice. For pet owners who appreciate a one-stop-shop for their pet's basic health needs, the hospital's offerings, from vaccinations and exams to an in-house pharmacy, can be a major benefit. The structured approach of requiring appointments is intended to make visits more efficient, which is a key factor for many busy families. The hospital’s commitment to providing a broad range of general veterinary services makes it a go-to for many routine care needs.

However, it's also important to consider the feedback from the community, as the experiences of other pet owners can provide valuable insights. The provided reviews highlight a significant disparity in client experiences. While one review praises a specific veterinarian for being "excellent and extremely compassionate," it also details a very negative experience with a front desk staff member, leading to a sense of frustration and a "complete lack of empathy." Another review describes a "negligent" and "unprofessional" experience with a fragile case, citing a lack of care and competence from staff. These mixed reviews suggest that while some individual providers at the clinic may be highly skilled and compassionate, there can be inconsistencies in the overall patient experience. This is a critical factor for pet owners who value consistent, compassionate, and professional care from every member of the team. For Texans weighing their options, it's important to consider these varied experiences when deciding if this specific location meets their expectations for both medical expertise and customer service.
