Bliss Veterinary Services Reviews
We had taken in a stray last year, Nebula. She was just under 1 yrs in age at the time. Before we were able to get her inside officially, she had been attacked by a wild animal on her hinde leg. Fast forward after several visits at other local veterinary services and many bandaid fixes that were offered we landed with Bliss Veterinary Services. Dr. Sara had diagnosed the issue to be a flash eating virus that had unfortunately made its way to the bone. Only options was amputation. After the surgery we fought with infections and many issues over the next few months. No matter what time of day into early hours at 2am Dr. Sara was there to help. Finally after a very rough few months and many long nights, our Nebula is living her best life! Strong, healthy and full of sass nearly a year later. She is as active as any 4 legged cat out there. I truly believe she would not have made it through had we gone anywhere else. Dr. Sara saved our Nebula. 10000% would recommend any vet service needed, see Bliss Veterinary any day of the week!Cortney & Cameron
Jun 20, 2025 · Cameron BenjaminI am always amazed that they seem to remember me. I'm not there very often but when I go in the ladies at the front desk always remember my name and everyone is welcoming and friendly. I completely trust Dr Bliss with my animal babies. There is typically a wait but I know when it's my turn I will be heard and my pet will be thoroughly checked out. When I first moved here I couldn't find a vet that would take new patients. I asked on social media and everyone suggested Bliss Veterinary. They were right.
Mar 16, 2025 · April SmithWish there was an option for zero stars. Our Parrot will never be back. We thought closer vet would be worth checking out- boy were we wrong. A simple nail trim and wellness visit couldn’t have gone worse. From the minute we walked in- we questioned our decision of this place. First step in the waiting room we stepped in pee. (I know it’s a vet but keep it clean- half of this was dried up) second red flag was the little girl that stormed into the room and was putting her fingers in our birds face and wouldn’t leave, also wouldn’t listen when we said no. This is no place for a child to be wondering around with no supervision. I won’t even go into the lack of education they have on Macaws. There isn’t enough space on here. Anyway, we go to pay and get charged $130 for a nail trim which wasn’t even done correctly and the length isn’t trimmed whatsoever. Lady at the front desk was completely rude and seemed very overwhelmed.I took pictures and send to our other vet in Columbus- which they agreed was done wrong. We will happily be making the trip back to our regular vet next week for a good nail trim and wellness check (that wasn’t even completed if I may add) It’s a four hour round trip, but well worth not having to go back to bliss. Our bird did wonderful in Columbus, so that will be our place to go from now on.
Apr 09, 2025 · Carrie PekariSara is the best veterinarian around. She saved our dog's life from another uneducated Vet. Be careful of other young Vets that don't know what they're doing.
Mar 14, 2025 · dwight newellThis is not a 24-hour clinic, which we understood—but we attempted to call during both the early morning (around 6:30–7:50 AM) and the early evening the night before during an actual emergency. We received no timely response, and when someone finally called back, we were treated as though we were a burden. This does not reflect the standard of care one should expect from a clinic advertising emergency services. Emergencies don’t wait for office hours.
