May 23, 2025 · Kitty ReynoldsFor the past year I’ve tried to stop myself from writing this but I don’t want anyone else to be so criminally taken advantage of. I will never forgive them for what they did. They knew my cat would not survive and still encouraged me to have a $12k procedure+stay, knowing his lungs would never recover, and he died a week later. They never offered me the option to put him down or even bothered to explain to me that he aspirated and his lungs would not recover, which THEY KNEW because I paid for the lung X-rays they did. I didn’t know what was happening. I trusted them. They knew I couldn’t afford it. I still did it, I opened a new credit card and everything, which I still haven’t paid off.I take responsibility for my part; I took the cat to other clinics at first and found that couldn’t help and by the time I came here it was too late. But never once did they give me the option to grant him a peaceful goodbye. Instead we performed a surgery they knew I couldn’t afford, hospitalized him, and I eventually took him out of here and brought him to another clinic that explained what happened and that his lungs would never recover. But the fact that THEY KNEW he wouldn’t recover and still pushed me to pay for a surgery I couldn’t afford is criminal. If your pet is sick; go anywhere else, they’re manipulative thieves that cannot be trusted.
Jun 11, 2025 · Torri WallThe staff is excellent. Meg at the front desk was awesome in providing initial support and information, as well as periodic updates. The nurses were compassionate and caring. And Dr. Yip was very thorough in her exam and in providing information on our dog’s torn CCL. The whole experience was quick, professional and supportive. Highly recommend them.
May 28, 2025 · Steve QuackenbushI wish we weren’t so familiar with Boston West, but we’ve been there several times with our pup. Between 2 serious sudden illnesses and a couple minor injuries outside our primaries availability, we used them 6 times. Every single visit we have been met with a kind and caring staff. The care plan has been well communicated. The care team has always been supportive and knowledgeable. My sweet girl wouldn’t be with us if it weren’t for their expert care.
