They are praised for being "so gentle, professional and educational along the way," ensuring that owners are fully informed about their horse's "care or treatment." Their commitment to providing detailed explanations sets them apart, as clients note this is "isn’t always the case at some practices." While a recent review highlights frustrating experiences with cancellations and communication, the overarching sentiment from many clients emphasizes the high quality of care, the professionalism, and the genuine dedication of the team. For horses recovering from injuries or needing consistent, detailed attention, Backstretch Veterinary aims to be a comprehensive and supportive partner in equine health.

If applicable to this specific practice, it signifies a higher level of proven expertise.
- Challenges in Communication (Noted in One Review): It is important to acknowledge the negative review that mentions "cancelled appointments, never showed up, came up with seemingly false excuses or didn’t respond." This indicates a potential area for improvement in communication and reliability that some clients have experienced. However, it contrasts sharply with other feedback emphasizing excellent communication, suggesting it might be an isolated or past issue.

Backstretch Veterinary, Inc Reviews
My family had used these veterinarians in the past and they had been good. Recently, they have cancelled appointments, never showed up, came up with seemingly false excuses or didn’t respond. This lack of communication has been incredibly frustrating as our horse is injured and is being rehabbed.
Jun 06, 2025 · Marisa RussoWow, I can’t say I’ve ever been happy to pay a vet bill in my life but I am more than happy to pay the excellent professionals at Backstretch! From the office manager being so friendly and helpful, to the veterinarians and techs working on your horse being so gentle, professional and educational along the way. Really really impressed from the get-go!!! If you’re one of those people who likes to know every detail about your horse’s care or treatment they are more than happy to tell you, which I’ve found isn’t always the case at some practices, but they all went above and beyond. Can’t recommend them enough. :)
