Rockingham Emergency Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Very recently I was forced to make the tough decision to have my Border Collie of nearly 14 years put to sleep. She had developed a cancerous growth on her spleen that grew undetected until it ruptured and she quickly went downhill. The staff here were polite, patient, gentle and understanding. All the things that I needed from them while going through one of the hardest moments I can remember. Their care and tact was top notch and I appreciate this facility keeping their prices reasonable, despite being in a position where they could take advantage. We're grateful to live only a few minutes from here.
Jul 07, 2025 · Jacob WithamRockingham Emergency Veterinary Hospital took in our dog Jack last minute when it turned out it was time to say goodbye. They treated us and Jack with nothing but professionalism and compassion throughout the entire process. I will forever be grateful. I wish I could remember who exactly we worked with so I could shout them out.Thank you.
Jul 03, 2025 · Josh BWe had a wonderful experience taking our Golden Retriever in over a holiday weekend when my vet was closed, and I was out of town. I was able to make an appointment, so I didn't have to sit in a waiting room for hours. The facility is beautiful and the front desk staff are friendly and kind. We had attentive and detailed care from the Vet Tech Daniela and Dr. Franson. My dog and I both felt comfortable and were able to get medication and answers to the issues she was having right away, saving me about two weeks of running around and scheduling appointments on the other side of the holidays. If your pet is need, this is the place to go!
May 28, 2025 · Carla HamiltonWe had to make the decision over the weekend to put our ferret who was incredibly sick with cancer to sleep. We wanted to wait to see our regular veterinarian, but our ferret declined very quickly, and we didn't want him to have to suffer through the whole weekend plus however long it would take to get into it vet. We brought him here for end of life and they were so incredibly kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable, helping us get through what is always the toughest decision any pet parent must make. I cannot express how grateful I am to have such a caring and experienced staff help us when we needed it most. I greatly recommend this emergency hospital. Many thanks to them.
Apr 18, 2025 · LMKCWe have been here a couple times for porcupine encounters with our dogs, but on Father’s Day we had to make the decision to put our 17 year old cat down. They took us in right away. I can’t say enough about the staff! They were all so caring, compassionate and respectful. They turned such a sad day into such a comforting and peaceful experience. Thank you to all of you for your kindness and for what you do everyday!
