★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- We’ve been with Central Hospital for about a year and I am glad to have switched my pet’s care to this clinic. The staff members are kind people and it’s evident that they care deeply about supporting my pet’s overall health. Also, I feel supported by them when it comes to being informed as a pet parent, which is not something I received from our previous clinic. My fluffy boy has never responded so calmly when getting his nails trimmed. They are absolutely wonderful and it’s relieving to have confidence and a trusting relationship with my pet’s health care providers. I mean, look at that face! He was smiling ear to ear at the end of our visit. June 27 · Tesla Travelstead
- Both of my fur kids have been well taken care of. I've referred Dr Portee to friends. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming, and my cat and dog are happy and healthy. November 25 · Jamie
- I have 2 cats, I brought one into vet for sneezing bouts, vet was great! A few days later the 2nd cat began with the sneezing but was worse, not eating, salivating- when I called they stated they would have to charge an urgent care fee, I would have thought they would either speak to vet for me and get a call back or schedule an appointment for the sicker cat. The urgent fee doesn't really make sense to me because they told me they take walk ins when I scheduled for my 1st cat to be seen, the same day that I called as well, and wasn't charged a urgent fee for him. Looks as if they charge what they feel like for that particular day. Now I'm searching for new vet.. April 02 · Debbie Belske
- Very friendly staff, the vet, Dr. Portee was extremely talented and very knowledgeable! She gave us all sorts of helpful information and tips She was very nice, easy to talk to and had an excellent bedside manner. They also have multiple locations. Plus she is one of the very few vets left that will crop a Dobermans ears around this location. I would recommend this veterinary service to everyone for all of your pets! April 10 · Charles Rankin
- I went to another vet multiple times before for my baby. All they did was give her a cortisone shot over and over again. I knew something else was wrong with her and she needed more treatment than what she was getting. She was itching constantly. Her skin was red and irritated, with sores all over. She started to smell bad. I just couldn't take it. I knew she was in pain. I decided to take her to the central hospital for animals in harrisburg abd they did a full exam of her body. Where the other vet didn't even look.at her. Out in less than 5 mins. This vet was amazing. They actually took the time to investigate what was the problem. They gave her the meds. She's been on them for a month now and my baby is doing so much better! She still itches. But we know what the problem is now. Thank you for the excellent service! March 09 · Tina Minnick
