Veterinary Emergency Group Reviews
A really great experience considering the situation. I was very nervous about going to a Vet Er, but it was very relaxed and the staff were brilliant.Smoky is back to normal! He has taken his rightful place back upon the roof of his Bun Castle.Thank you VEG ER!
Jun 29, 2025 · Doug HutchinsMy Pup ingested a month’s worth of his chewable blood pressure medication that accidentally fell onto the floor. After stabilizing him at our home vet, I was told he would need to be transferred to a 24 hour clinic for observation. None of the clinics in my area would allow me to stay with him for the night. So we drove 1.5 hours to VEG. I am SO glad that we did! The staff were top notch and compassionate. I was allowed to sleep on a pull out couch with my dog by my side the entire time night while he received the treatment that he needed. The staff provided me with food and water! What an amazing experience and I wish that all pet hospitals implemented this business practice. Not only was my anxiety at ease, but I know my dog had a better outcome with his human at his side. Thank you, VEG!
May 25, 2025 · Honey BeeI unfortunately have had to visit VEG 2 times in the last week for 2 different pets. Both times have been such amazing experiences! I work in the vet field, and can honestly say that from a professional side and a customer side, this place is top notch! Martin and Heather were amazing!! Kudos on how you’re running such an awesome business VEG! And thanks for everything you did for our cat and dog!!!!
May 25, 2025 · Jenny RobertsThis was my second visit here the first was during Christmas 2023 when my cat Henry had his first urinary pre-blockage. This time, he had a full blockage, and once again, I was met with kindness, understanding, and knowledgeable care. I really appreciated being given clear treatment options and price estimates without any pressure. The entire experience was comforting from the wide snack selection in the waiting room (and even in the exam rooms!) to the thoughtful touches like tampons in the bathroom. Those small things matter more than people realize.I also love the open conceptt being able to stay with Henry the whole time and having comfortable seating made a huge difference emotionally. They even gave me some Hill's urinary cans to hold me over until the prescription arrives, which was such a thoughtful gesture. No complaints at all.. this facility and everyone in it are incredible. I'm so grateful Asheville has a place like this. Thank you again! They also offer a 10% military discount, which I deeply appreciate it’s not something I usually think to ask about, but emergency vet visits can be incredibly expensive. That’s the only thing I wish were different: I do wish emergency care was more affordable overall, especially knowing how much less it costs in other parts of the world. But I also understand that’s more about the broader system and not something this amazing team controls.
Jun 08, 2025 · Abigayle MarksI couldn’t have been more pleased the way my French bulldog Toby was treated and made comfortable… I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this facility to anybody!! Also was very pleased with Dr Josh Bentley‘s awareness of French bulldog specific issues!! Thank you all so much….
