The folks at Avery Creek Animal Hospital are very kind and compassionate. This morning we had to bring our 14 year old dog, Whimsey ,who we only adopted 7 months ago, to be euthanized. We knew when we adopted 2 senior dogs that our time with them was limited. Unfortunately, Whimsey stopped eating last night and this morning we found her to have very limited use of her legs. We knew it was her time and we called Avery Creek Animal Hospital where our dogs had been seen before. Though, they were completely booked, the fit us in. The staff and doctor were extremely kind and compassionate. They walked us through the process and made Whimsey’s transition to the Rainbow Bridge as peaceful and loving as it could be. We are truly grateful to the doctor and staff for their kindness during this difficult time.

I am new to the area and I was pleasantly surprised to find Avery Creek Pet Hospital nearby. I’ve had dogs (and cats) and therefore gone to many different veterinarians and I must say Avery Creek stands out from the rest! They are always kind, understanding, and accommodating for my latest 2 rescues that each have severe issues. I also appreciate the technology they use for communicating and their “sign-in” process. One of my new dogs is dog-aggressive, and the other is terrified of people, so I appreciate being allowed to wait in my car until they need to go in. I’ve found all the staff very knowledgeable and kind and I appreciate how quickly they respond when I call with a question. Highly recommend!
