Chiro 4 Paws Introduce
For pet owners across the Missouri region, particularly in Kansas City and surrounding areas, **Chiro 4 Paws** represents a unique and highly specialized form of **Veterinary Care** dedicated to enhancing pet mobility, easing pain, and improving overall wellness. Led by Dr. Kimberly Hunt, a certified **Animal Chiropractor**, this practice focuses specifically on **Animal Chiropractic**—a non-invasive, drug-free approach to managing musculoskeletal, joint, and nerve issues in dogs and cats. Dr. Hunt's expertise is especially valued by owners of **Senior Pet** companions, where age-related stiffness and neurological issues frequently emerge.
Dr. Hunt’s method is distinguished by its holistic and thorough nature. She is celebrated by clients for her calming, soothing energy with animals, and for being incredibly proactive in treatment. A key feature that sets Chiro 4 Paws apart is Dr. Hunt’s commitment to performing necessary **soft-tissue work**—such as deep tissue massage, neuromuscular regeneration, and myofascial release—alongside the targeted **Chiropractic Adjustments**. As noted by grateful clients, this combined approach is rare, even among human chiropractors, and is often the critical difference that allows for a successful adjustment when tight muscles or inflamed tissue are preventing proper alignment. This dedication has delivered "tremendous improvements" for many pets, helping them recover quickly from injuries and enabling senior pets to live a "better, longer, healthier life."
Beyond Dr. Hunt’s technical skill, the entire experience is defined by exceptional service. The first point of contact, Betsy, is consistently praised for her "warm and thoroughly genuine" welcome, her efficiency, and her remarkable ability to know "every animal that comes in the door." This combination of top-tier **Specialty Care** and compassionate client service makes every **Vet Visit** to Chiro 4 Paws a positive experience for both the pet and the human.
Location and Accessibility for Missouri Pet Owners
Chiro 4 Paws is conveniently situated in a commercially accessible area of Kansas City, Missouri, making it a viable option for specialized care for residents throughout the metro area and beyond. The clinic’s location is designed to be easily navigated for regular appointments.
- **Address:** 406 Bannister Rd Suite #F, Kansas City, MO 64131, USA
Understanding the challenges of transporting pets, particularly those with mobility issues or injuries, the facility has taken steps to ensure convenience. It features a **Wheelchair accessible parking lot** and a **Wheelchair accessible restroom**. A general **Restroom** is also available for clients. Given the focused, individualized nature of **Chiropractic Treatment**, which often requires dedicated time for both the adjustment and the essential soft-tissue work, **Appointments are recommended** to ensure every patient receives Dr. Hunt’s full attention without being rushed.
Specialized Services Offered
As a **Veterinarian** clinic specializing in **Chiropractor** services, Chiro 4 Paws offers targeted treatments to improve mobility, alleviate chronic pain, and support neurological function. All services are intended to work in conjunction with a pet’s primary veterinary **Veterinary Care** plan.
- **Comprehensive Animal Chiropractic:** Core treatments revolve around precise **Chiropractic Adjustments** to correct vertebral subluxations (misalignments) in the spine and extremities, restoring the function of the central nervous system.
- **Integrated Soft-Tissue Therapy:** A distinguishing feature of Dr. Hunt's practice, involving pre-adjustment soft-tissue work (such as deep tissue massage) that helps tight muscles relax, enabling a more effective and comfortable adjustment. This is essential for addressing the root cause of many nerve and joint issues.
- **Management of Chronic and Acute Conditions:** Providing relief and improved function for pets struggling with conditions like **Hip Dysplasia**, arthritis, spinal or nerve impingements, and recovery from acute injuries (e.g., pinched nerves in the shoulder or back).
- **Senior Pet Care Focus:** Dedicated protocols to help **Senior Pet** companions maintain or regain mobility, addressing age-related stiffness, weakness, and discomfort, thereby increasing their quality of life in their later years.
- **Maintenance and Preventative Care:** Offering regular adjustment schedules to athletes and healthy, active pets, or those recovering from previous injuries, to keep them functioning at their peak, often as a preventative measure against future issues.
- **Musculoskeletal and Neurological Support:** Targeting the nervous system to help the body function optimally, which can indirectly support other systems like immunity and digestion, going beyond just treating pain.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Dr. Hunt is simply the best!! Now that I have a senior poodle, she’s started having some joint/nerve issues. We started seeing Dr. Hunt 2 yrs ago after Ziggy pinched a nerve in her shoulder that affected the entire front leg. Dr. Hunt was SO helpful and made incredible progress with Ziggy quite quickly. We continue to see her monthly for maintenance, or more frequently when she has an injury. Ziggy’s now 11 1/2 and they always manage to squeeze her in when she’s hurt something. Dr. Hunt will even do the necessary soft-tissue work when that’s preventing her from being able to do the adjustment. Just like with human chiros, not many are willing to do soft-tissue work, as well.Dr. Hunt has such a calming, soothing energy with the animals and is reassuring and thorough in treating her patients - and explanations with their humans. 💕Also, every business owner knows how important the first point-of-contact is when someone walks in the door, and at Chiro4Paws, Betsy is that person and there’s nobody better! She loves and actually KNOWS every animal that comes in the door (and their humans, too, of course!). Betsy is warm and thoroughly genuine in her friendly welcoming of everyone who walks in the door. Betsy is efficient but never rushes anyone; she’s up for a chat if you want one, but also gives you space if you’re working on other things while Dr. Hunt has your fur baby . . . She’s quite simply the perfect person to be the first (and last!) face you see when you walk through the door at Chiro4Paws.The office is nicely decorated and has ample treatment space, as well as separate waiting areas: while a fur baby is being worked on, their human generally is waiting in the main lobby area; the human-and-dog pair up next are usually placed in a separate room with a door that closes so that they’re in a calm environment and won’t be stimulated by the other dog when Dr. Hunt brings them back out to their human (there’s also always a cannister of doggie treats - Dr. Hunt and Betsy have started their own freeze-drying treat biz - commercial-grade freeze dryers for various organ meat treats: liver, kidney, heart, etc.).I know this is long, but I wanted to be thorough! Everything about Chiro4Paws is top-notch from the moment you walk in the door until your leave; a five-star review isn’t enough! I am so grateful that I have Dr. Hunt to help Ziggy live her best Senior life, and I have no doubt that Ziggy will live a better, longer, healthier life because of Dr. Hunt. July 25 · Aidy S

- Dr. Hunt and Betsy are absolutely amazing! As a dog trainer, It’s hard to find people that I trust with my dogs. However, I refer all my clients to them!Dr. Hunt has helped significantly Over the last 12 months As I have had one dog recovering from an ACL tear and the other recovering from a broken leg! - Gained the trust of my 17 yo, badly treated rescue. She has the experience and patience to work thru multiple problems. What a blessing! Strongly recommend her, as well as her kind and thoughtful office staff. July 10 · Berta Martha
- Found Dr. Hunt while searching for a way to help my dog. He had a leg injury that the vet kept saying was fine. He definitely had an injury, because she found scar tissue, and he is walking and running so much better! He jumps again, and loves going to his now monthly appointments. Thank you Dr. Hunt!
