Friendly and Welcoming Staff: One review specifically highlights "Super friendly staff and doctors," indicating a positive initial impression and a welcoming environment for pets and their owners. This can significantly reduce stress during vet visits.
Pet Comfort and Sensitivity: A customer noted, "my cat felt very comfortable with them and he can be scared of vet visits sometimes," which suggests that the staff are adept at handling anxious animals with care and patience.

Dedication to Pet Well-being (initial impressions): The immediate relief experienced by the dog with pancreatitis suggests effective initial treatment and a focus on alleviating suffering.
Areas for Potential Improvement: The "Update" in the second review points to a serious concern regarding diagnostic thoroughness and ongoing disease management, specifically a delayed diagnosis of diabetes despite a history of related symptoms and multiple visits. This highlights the importance of consistent, proactive diagnostic approaches and communication in chronic conditions. It suggests that while initial care may be friendly and welcoming, long-term complex case management requires continuous vigilance and comprehensive evaluation by the veterinary team.

Clinton Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Today was my first visit and my cat and I felt very welcome. Super friendly staff and doctors, my cat felt very comfortable with them and he can be scared of vet visits sometimes. Highly recommend!
Oct 31, 2024 · Melissa HigginsFriendly staff. Took me in without a appointment. My dog has pancreatitis and was in a lot of pain. She is feeling better now. Update: I'm changing my review because of their incompetence. My dog has had history of pancreatitis and has had many visits and has lots of blood work. Now she is skin and bones and completely lethargic and it seems she is dying. I brought her in for a checkup and they tried to scold me that she is not being fed enough so they do blood work and it comes back that she has diabetes. This did not happen over night. How many times should I have to bring my dog to the doctor before they find this out. I blame them 100 percent. Total incompetence. Now my dog might have irreversible damage because of this.
May 07, 2025 · Jason DelaneyMy dog Delaney, who is almost 11 years old had 11 T3 moved and the Clinton veterinary hospital was absolutely fabulous. They took great care of her. She is doing wonderful and I want to thank them all very much. They also called the day after the surgery to see how she was doing and she is doing very well thanks to them. 😊💗
May 23, 2024 · Lois GannonDr bolger is amazing and the staff are really nice and friendly. Even the vet mascot Simon loves when the kiddos come haha! This is definitely the best vet I've been too.
Apr 16, 2024 · Lana C2025-Dr. Bolger and team are still the best! We've been clients for nearly 19 years he's seen our 6 dogs and our 18 year old cat. His team is knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. During the early pandemic, we had to euthanize one of our dogs who had severe kidney disease. When everyone else was forcing no contact/no entry - Dr. Bolger, let us stay with our pup and say our goodbyes (masked, of course). It meant the world to us. As long as he is still practicing, we will always bring our pets to Clinton Vet Hospital for care from Doc Bolger and team.2019-Dr. Bolger and his staff have always treated us and our fur-kids with respect, care, and compassion. We've been clients for 11 years and have brought 4 dogs and our cat to Clinton Veterinary Hospital and have appreciated the thoughtful expertise demonstrated by Dr. Bolger. We have been treated for eye problems, stomach issues, skin problems, orthopedic problems, senior dog issues, and puppies. Dr. Bolger and his staff have always demonstrated compassion and the utmost concern during our visits. He always takes the time to explain things and his medical care rationale, which I appreciate, combine that with the friendly staff, and it's a recipe that will keep me and my pets coming back.
