Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
I took my dog Winston here for over 8 years! While there has always been issues with scheduling and the app (this is a corporate problem).. this particular Banfield has always been accommodating even with how busy they are. Vets all across the country are slammed and Dr. Sanders is a very caring, compassionate and intelligent vet! We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our sweet Winston (14) last week and she handled the situation very well and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. I’m grateful that Winston had a great vet looking after him for these last 8 years! Thank you Dr. Sanders!
May 14, 2025 · TJ WellsTerrible experience. I made an appointment for 5:30pm on Monday for my sick kitten. Monday morning I got a phone call asking can I come in early because the vet doesn’t work past 5pm… I said okay no problem when can I come in? The receptionist told me 12 I explained to her I think my kitten has an upper respiratory infection. I get to my appointment I TRY to check in the receptionist tells me I can’t have my cat seen because he could get other animals sick ….. is this not where I should take my animal when sick??? He’s not throwing up bleeding or anything. He is sneezing and sounds congested the worst experience I’ve ever had. Will not be returning.
May 21, 2025 · Kasey SmithI have been with banfeild for numerous years now. I have never had an issue prior to my dogs care until recently at this location. First thing- they closed down for the day due to snow even though there was no snow, and the staff canceled all appointments however i never received a phone call leading to us showing up. They allowed my dog to be seen as the only patient of the day however it took two hours and they refused for him to be seen with us. Why couldn’t we stay if we are the only patient of the day? Additionally, they completely ignored the chief medical complaint, resulting in worsening medical condition of my dog over the week writing it off as something else. I reached out to corporate regarding my dogs care at this location. Greenbelt completely botched/ignored my dogs illness, falsified his record, then had the audacity to lie to me on the phone when they got an email from corporate about my complaint. Was then called by the program manager at this location who lied to me about numerous topics about my dogs care & other things that happened. Do not trust this location, avoid at all costs.
Feb 28, 2025 · Alex LewisI’ve been coming to Banfield for 4 years bringing my grandpa Bella, we have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism. And I’ve developed a great relationship with the doctor and staff. And when I bring Bella she usually little frightened but when she leaves of course she’s happy to see me and she treats your staff like she’s known them forever.
Sep 30, 2022 · Robin SweetBobbie McClainThis practice is extremely disorganized and the staff is rude. I scheduled an appointment online 5 days in advance. I try calling the practice twice a day for 4 days prior to appt and no one answers or returns my voicemails. A manager named Zacar call 1.5 hours before the appt to say “we don’t control online scheduling” and this is a drop off only. He then claims he never got my messages and asks me to call another practice because they can’t see my sick cat. They also repeatedly claim they don’t use the online appointment system and cannot explain why the online system doesn’t indicate that they only do drop off appointments. HIGHLY recommend avoiding this practice.
