Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
Terrible place. They milk you dry. Say they did things and bill you for stuff they didn’t even do. Have you drop your pet off for hours and nothing. No nails clipped nothing. My pet came home wet and stressed and hungry. They are all about money. If you can’t deal with animals and their temperament you’re in the wrong profession. Everyone that works there fresh out of high school.
Jun 24, 2025 · Ghea's Drink2ShrinkMy actually visit was great. Then I had to call to office like I was told to do by Dr. Olana and the nurse Amada if I had any question or concerns. (I was also told that I would receive a follow up care call in a few day post treatment to see how my pup was doing.) Well things went left when I called. The intake person who answered the call Saturday said that the doctor that seen my dog had called out and the acting doctor of the day couldn't help me because he didn't see her & he can't give any recommendations. I had to wait till monday. Called MONDAY left a message with intake for the doctor or nurse I seen to call me no call. TUESDAY I called again Early left a message to have someone call me. I expressed that the treatment plan seems to not be working and if I could please have someone call. 2 hour before they closed I called back, The same lady answered an put me on hold for over 10 mins. I had to hang up and call back! Same person answers and says she talk to the doctor he said just come in and do x-rays. I honestly don't even believe she ever spoke with the Dr. I really wish people wouldn't take jobs for the income only when the job require sympathy. $783 spent and I can't get a call back at minimum.
Mar 19, 2025 · Ernice GreyI have visited this Banfield location a few times with my dog Cinnamon but on Sunday, April 6. 2025 I had the best experience. I was warmly greeted by Tati and Renee. We had casual friendly conversation while I was checking my dog in for her appt. The vet nurse came out and greet me and take my dog to the back. I’m not sure exactly whether it was Telly, Teshauna, or Carina. ( She was short and so bubbly). After the appt Dr. Bobo called to update me on everything regarding my dog and answered all the questions I had. Overall, the very warm and friendly environment these ladies provided to me and my dog was just absolutely amazing! It’s normal to receive good customer service there but this specific day was the absolute best experience I have had in all my years of taking my dog to Banfield. My dog was even happier than usual on the drive home. Thank you so much.
Apr 12, 2025 · Kaneisha WashingtonWe had the optimum premium plan. Took our pooch there a week and half ago with complaints and a request for labs. They didn’t do labs. They only administered allergy shot and anal gland expressing. Symptoms persist so we had no choice but to emergency vet. Pooch has cirrhosis which could’ve been treated had banfield done labs and diagnosed. Y’all have killed my pet. SHAME on your lazy veterinarians who your customers NEVER GET TO SPEAK TO and only techs. Just a trash company that really doesn’t care about pets. Your techs are lovely - especially Christine. Your DVM Vets should be embarrassed of themselves for never speaking to pet owners. Trash.
Dec 04, 2024 · Derek WillisCustomer service and communication zero. New location. Informed to drop my pet off at 8am for dental cleaning. Normal procedure, call location around 2pm. Only to be informed tha het hadn’t even been seen yet for the cleaning. That’s 7 hrs! Zero communication to contact me to say anything. If I hadn’t called would not have known. This is normally a 3-4 hr process. If you know it’s gonna be longer inform your customers. If you overbooked the day INFORM your customers. Just for the simple courtesy and knowing people have jobs kids etc. no reason that a simple dental cleaning should take up my entire day and interfere with me picking up my child. With no recognition of consuming your customer’s entire day. And then at the close of picking my pet up, did not ask for payment and then called hour after I have left. Poor poor experience. This is suppose to be the new go to location for this area. Service not up to par. Will never revisit. Rather drive an hour away to the Banfield in Olney Md than 10 min from my house. Disappointed
