Animal Hospital of Rochester Reviews
We brought my mom’s cat here and unfortunately had to put him down. This was very tough, but the staff were so patient, understanding and kind. The vet answered all of our questions with patience. He also gave us time to process the situation. The staff here did everything they could to make us feel comfortable in a difficult time. I hope you never need to seek emergency vet services but if you do, the staff here are very supportive.
Apr 01, 2025 · Brianna LippaHad a bit of a scare with my dog and every urgent care in the area was booked full! Despite being on diversion, they fit us in for an appointment and were nothing but compassionate, friendly, and attentive the whole time, even with it being an incredibly hectic night! When our stay took longer than planned, they not only kept me up to date, but regularly checked in on us, giving him a blanket and water and offering me a bowl of snacks for myself! I never want to have to take my dog to the emergency vet again, but if I have to, I'll happily come here again.
Jan 19, 2025 · Jill WoodhamsI was referred to this place by my regular veterinarian because my cat needed a sonogram. The ladies were very friendly, and even though the test was somewhat complicated due to my cat's inability to lie down at certain angles, they made sure she was comfortable throughout the process. They even gave her treats to help them get all the images they needed. They didn't rush the test and gave my cat time to calm down before continuing. They also explained the findings to me in detail as they performed the test.
May 13, 2025 · Jessy GarciaIt was very crowded when I arrived despite having been told to come right over. The staff was very helpful and triage person was communicative about the priority of the severe cases being seen first. She went around to everyone in waiting room. We were told we were low priority so it could be hours. We opted to not wait. Reception person recommended where to take cat the next day and gave me instructions to keep our cat comfortable overnight.
Feb 22, 2025 · Roxanne CullenThank you for triaging Stella so quickly. We lucked out and hopefully we never have you visit you again but it's comforting to know you are there if need be.
