Doorbell Vet Reviews
I had never used Doorbell Vet before, but heard wonderful reviews. I called them yesterday morning for my beloved 13 year old pocket beagle, Lily. She had Cushings and a liver tumor, and had stopped eating 2 days before. Heidi and Dr. Turner came at 4pm.They lovingly fed Lily chicken and cheese to help calm her and introduce themselves. They prepared her favorite spot and when she was calmed by the sedative, lovingly put her there. Then they gave her the final injection. They explained everything and were such a compassionate pair to me and to Lily.Lily had always been fearful of car rides and the vet, so this was the perfect way to give her a good send-off without the preliminary anxiety beforehand. I recommend Doorbell Vet to anyone needing to end their pet’s suffering. They were wonderful and worth every penny!!!
May 14, 2025 · Victoria RuppertUnfortunately I had to put my 19 year old boy, Boo Boo, down last week. From my initial inquiry about euthanasia to the final pickup of Boo Boo’s remains, the Doorbell Vet team was phenomenal. They made one of the worst moments of my life as stress free as possible. I inquired about euthanasia late Thursday night. Before 9:00 AM on Friday, CJ reached out to me expressing her condolences and guided me through the scheduling process. She was helpful in explaining the process over the phone with me, to ease my anxiety. The day of, Dr. Mandi and Laura were nothing but kind to my family and my boy. They gave him love and treated him with the utmost care before and after passing. This included the proper handling of care in a warm blanket after his passing. They explained every bit of the procedure, and had excellent bedside manner. They generously gave me vials to put my boys hair in, and gave my other cat a ball with come catnip to help him with his grieving process. I chose to have Boo Boo cremated at the facility they use, Pet Passages. That facility allowed me to track his every move during the cremation process, which was so helpful. Carli then reached out to me the same day that Boo Boo was picked up from Pet Passages, again expressing her condolences and offering drop off or pickup options. I chose the pick up option because I live on a street with heavy foot traffic, and no safe place to put him. Due to my tight work schedule and my eagerness to pick up my boy, Christina offered to stay late at the office for me so I could pick him up the same day. This is my only affiliation with Doorbell Vet (ie. I have no family or friends that work here) and I was not paid for this review, but I genuinely have an overwhelming sense of gratitude for this practice that I thought must be shared.
Jun 10, 2025 · KaylaDoorbell Vet seems like a really nice place! I only stopped in briefly to pick up medication for my puppy who was neutered the day prior. All went well with the surgery, and the vet staff was very responsive when we needed additional assistance the next day.
Jun 11, 2025 · Jennifer CammarataAlways wonderful. Have used them for end of life transitions for two of my cats, and they’ve always been there for me to consult with when an issue arrives regarding my four cats I currently have. I’ll recommend them always, as they’ve always been there for me for me with amazing bedside and phone manner. Plus, they GET you. They’ve been with me at my absolute lowest two times, and sat with me, giving space in my grief but making sure I was okay as well. Thanks, Doorbell Vet.
Jun 03, 2025 · Laura ZieglerDr Turner and Heidi were so incredibly compassionate and loving to our sweet boy. They spoiled him until he fell asleep licking cheese off his plate. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or peaceful transition for our bub. What an amazing service to have available so he could pass in his favorite comfy spot. ♥️
