Commonwealth Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned, mixed-animal veterinary clinic that opened its doors in October 2022, founded by two Scott County natives, Dr. Emily Bridge and Dr. Abbey Biddle. With over a decade of combined veterinary experience, their vision was to provide exceptional veterinary care to the animals of Scott and surrounding counties, doing veterinary medicine "differently." They strive to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where both you and your pet can be at ease. Recognizing that a sick animal can be incredibly stressful for both owner and patient, they actively work to minimize the anxiety associated with veterinary clinic visits. Their approach is built on compassion, expertise, and a genuine concern for the well-being of every animal they treat, fostering strong, trusting relationships with their clients.

Commonwealth Veterinary Clinic Reviews
We discovered Commonwealth after moving down here 3 years ago. They have taken care of 4 dogs and 9 cats for us. The entire staff is always very nice and welcoming. Love it here! It's the best vet office I've had the pleasure of working with.
Feb 21, 2025 · Aaron YeazelWe are very pleased with the care our animals received. The staff are very helpful and caring. Dr. Bridge and Dr. Biddle both are very caring and concerned for our sheep and goats. Dr. Biddle delivered 2 goat kids via C-section and was able to save both kids. Dr. Bridge has helped us with several others in our flock and heard.
Feb 25, 2025 · Richard HagermanStaff really listened to my concerns on my older Aussie and the communication is far better than I have received at other clinics. I would definitely recommend them to anyone small or large animal! They were fantastic when we had to bring in our goats and pigs as well! I’m so happy we have found fantastic vets that can take care of all our animals.

Jul 10, 2024 · ERA Wellness SpaI have used Commonwealth Vet for my small animals. Their care and empathy have helped me thru the hardest of times, having to put down my 17 year old dog. As well as excellent car for my cats and dogs. Recently, I began using their services for my horse too. Dr Biddle has come out twice for us in the last two weeks. The first to meet and check on my 32 yo gelding to take over for his last vet. She was kind and thourough, and he likes her. Last week, he could not get up, it was the near zero night. Dr Biddle came knowing the emergency, despite the fact a cow had broken her foot that morning on a previous call.she came to us before she went to the ER for herself. We shaved his neck for the needle, then she, knowing what a warrior he is, asked us to try one last thing.she taught us how to roll him over. She saved his life. He got up and he is still with me. Thank you Dr Biddle. Thank you from me, from Chosen Dancer, and from my mama in Heaven.
