I take my 3 cats and one dog here and have seen multiple veterinarians and every time I leave happy. I have never had anything but a wonderful experience. The whole staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating. From my senior cat needing surgery for a ruptured spay incision to my reactive/anxious bulldog needing a nail trim and flea treatment, they are just great. I never feel judged or like I am being treated anything but kindly by everyone in the office. Including the office kitties! My pets and I feel at ease here.Also want to add they are always able to get us in very quickly. And being able to text to schedule is great.

We had an unexpected situation with our foster dog and called the hospital for guidance. Even though we weren’t current clients, Liz and the doctor were incredibly supportive and direct. Their calm, clear advice made a stressful moment much more manageable. We’ll definitely be returning as regular clients.

If you're worried about bringing your dog to the vet because they're reactive, let your anxiety go and call Deer Park Vet Hospital. They made a plan with me on how to manage our visit, and listened when I advocated for what I knew my dog needed to be comfortable. So happy we found this place after searching Fear Free Vet Care in the area.

I’m at a point in my life where I can afford quality regular vet care for my dogs for the first time ever but I still carry a lot of financial trauma with me; part of me was very anxious and suspicious as to whether or not there was a difference between a vet like Banfield and a vet like DPVH. No shade to the lovely teams at Banfield who have helped me & mine over the years… but there’s a night & day difference that puts my anxieties to rest every time I’ve dealt with any of the staff members here. This is the kind of vet office where I feel my dog in front of them is their number one priority— I have never felt pushed to rush my puppy when she was unsure, and I can tell her emotional wellbeing is just as important to them as her physical health. I have learned more in conversations with their vets, techs, and front desk staff about the health of dogs than I have in a decade of going to my previous vets. The handful of times I’ve been here, I’ve only ever bumped into one other customer and their dog in the lobby— this is a boon to customers with fearful animals! I feel confident that they have the experience & connections in the area to help me with the health issues that could arise for my Doberman later in her life (fingers crossed that we never have to put that to use). I love my dogs to the moon & back, and the wonderful people here make me feel better equipped to be the kind of dog parent that I strive to be. So glad I decided to start taking my puppy here! My adult doggos will be joining her there, soon. Y’all are absolutely awesome and I’m positive that my senior dog & anxious dog will benefit from the consideration y’all extend your patients 💖
