If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have an 11 year old Pitbull who has severe skin allergies and food allergies. He is allergic to literally every meat there is, dust, grass, etc. I scheduled an appointment for him for a month out. When his appointment came they called and said another dog had an emergency and they had to reschedule me for the same time the following week. I took off work for this appointment, but I understood. So I tool off work the following week for his appointment. THAT day came and I called to confirm and they told us that whoever I spoke to never actually rescheduled him. I explained that I had missed 2 days of work now without pay and rescheduled him once. Couldn't they rectify their mistake by calling someone else and moving them because they messed up? No. Meanwhile... my dog is tearing his paws to pieces and chewing his hair out. He is a senior dog. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for someone who actually cares about your animal. - Eric Kelly

While experiences can vary, the overarching theme from many reviews points to a practice deeply committed to compassionate care and professionalism.

Features / Highlights:

  • Exceptional Compassion and Empathy: A standout feature is the overwhelming praise for the staff's kindness and empathy, especially during difficult times, such as the unexpected loss of a pet. The willingness to provide comfort, time for grieving, and even a paw print and a blanket-wrapped box free of charge in a tragic situation, speaks volumes about their heartfelt care.
  • Highly Professional and Welcoming Staff: Many clients describe the entire team as "super great," "helpful and kind," and "nicest, most welcoming staff ever," creating a comfortable and supportive environment.
  • Comprehensive Care and Advanced Diagnostics: The availability of advanced diagnostic tools like ultrasound, echocardiography, and endoscopy, alongside both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, ensures that pets receive thorough and specialized care, often negating the need for outside referrals.
  • Experienced Veterinarians: With Dr. Charlene Barnes's extensive background in small animal and emergency veterinary medicine, clients benefit from a high level of expertise in diagnosis and treatment.

However, it is important to acknowledge that not all experiences are uniform. This suggests that while compassion is a strong point, operational efficiency and handling of rescheduling might occasionally pose challenges for some clients.
