Catoctin Veterinary Clinic Reviews
Wallace can be the ruckus when trimming his nails but the ladies that came and helped were excellent with him. Everyone seems to truly care. I gave it 4 stars because it can be so costly. At this most recent visit we finally got the help we needed to save our dog from continuing to deal with an ear infection. I couldn't be more grateful. Wish it hadn't taken so long to get these medicines and help with his ears but overjoyed that his ears are finally getting back to normal. Its a great veterinary clinic and I'm lucky to have it right in town.
May 14, 2025 · Jane Dough (MJ)The absolute best bedside manner you could ask for. Both doctors are incredibly compassionate, understanding, and go above and beyond to make high stress situations more comfortable, for both pets and their owners. We are so appreciative of the care we've received. Our girl was in great hands, even in her last moments.
Feb 11, 2025 · Kati MidgleyGreat vets and staff; 5 stars for the care we've received at CVC over a year and a half so far. Unfortunately, I have to dock them a star for the significant inconvenience of not having electronic Rx capability. They'll offer to email it to you, but if the vet isn't sending an e-script directly to the pharmacy, many pharmacies require a script pad page with "wet signature", and won't accept what CVC emailed to you. CVC told us that vets "are not allowed" to use e-script technology, despite being required to complete compliance training on it. I don't know if that's a Maryland thing, as our previous vet in another state had e-script capability going back to at least 2019. Having a pet on twice daily medication, in addition to prescription preventatives, picking up physical scripts every time we need to reorder meds is enough hassle that we may consider a practice further from us in the future, if they offer e-scripts.
Mar 19, 2025 · Josh CalhounStaff is super friendly and gentle with nervous pets. A little expensive, but I know from experience, you get what you pay for. They are worth it. 🐾🐾❤️
Oct 31, 2024 · Vanessa SmithI have moved to the area and needed to find a new veterinarian. I have two cattle dogs and my rescue is a challenge. The entire staff worked with us affording us time in the waiting area to explore, the lovely staff kindly came out to greet my dogs w treats and sat on the floor, and I was encouraged with new ideas to be a better handler despite my agility training, I will receive new directions! The actual time with the doctor was full of peace, understanding, and kindness- one of a kind appointment. I am so grateful. I have training work ahead to make my next appointment better. For all others, I highly recommend this facility. You will have a hard time finding better. Also, reasonably priced! Thank you, thank you!
