Dr. Kimberly Ann Downes, DVM Reviews
Although it's called Animal Hospital of Rowlett. So much more than that. We've boarded our dog's here, get them check ups and nails taken care of here... the 1 less star is because when i did have an emergency and went up to ask somebody to help, they didn't seem exactly willing to help me at the time then the lady goes it'll be 500$ and we might be able to see her. I can't do a might, I needed help than. She already had a appt the next day. What would have cost 500 for a might get seen, was 175$ including her medication, blood work and appt and nails.
June 12 · Nina IrvingThis vet has been around for many years. I am shocked that there are only 10 reviews posted. There should be hundreds. Can reviews be deleted or "reset"?I have a very mixed view of this vet. I've been with them for about 4 years and 4 pets. Three of which have had to be euthanized over the years, for cancer or age/illness reasons. My biggest beef with this vet is that when it comes to euthanasia, they STILL charged me a "wellness check" even when they were already familiar with the pet. I'm pretty sure they were not "well", or I wouldn't be requesting euthanasia.I believe Dr. Downes is a good veterinarian. She is very thorough. But her demeaner can be snarky and belittling at times. They aren't the cheapest in town but, I believe as far as diagnosing issues, they are good at it. Like I said, very mixed review...
November 14 · Dino GCourteous and very respectful when it came time to put my 15yr old pit down. This was my 2nd time to have an animal euthanized and her process was way better than the 1st time where the vet struggled to hit veins and was actually a horrible experience. Thank you very much Dr. Kimberly Ann Downes and staff!!
