Eastlake Veterinary Services Introduce
For pet owners in Colorado, our animal companions are a central part of our lives, joining us for hikes, mountain adventures, and daily routines. Ensuring their health and well-being requires a trusted and compassionate veterinary partner. Eastlake Veterinary Services, located in Thornton, has long served as a local resource for comprehensive pet care. This article provides an in-depth look at this veterinary clinic, exploring its wide range of services, its commitment to a positive patient experience, and what makes it a notable option for families in the Colorado region.
Choosing a veterinarian is a deeply personal decision, and the experience can be filled with a mix of emotions—from the joy of a healthy pet to the anxiety of an unexpected illness. Eastlake Veterinary Services aims to provide a professional environment where pets are treated with the care and affection they deserve. One customer review highlights this commitment, noting that the clinic treats animals "as if they were their own," and describes a dog "so happy to go to the vet." This speaks to the positive, caring atmosphere the staff strives to create, which can make a significant difference for both the pet and the owner.
However, it is also important to acknowledge that every experience is unique, and customer feedback can vary. Another review expressed deep disappointment and a sense of helplessness after a difficult visit, citing a lack of clear answers and a perceived focus on cost over compassionate care for a sick pet. This highlights the subjective nature of veterinary care and the importance of open communication between the clinic and pet owners. While the staff is often described as "nice," the emotional weight of a pet's illness can significantly impact the perception of a visit. It is important to consider all aspects of a clinic's reputation when making a choice for your pet.
Eastlake Veterinary Services is conveniently situated at 12599 Colorado Blvd, Thornton, CO 80241. This location makes it easily accessible for residents of Thornton, Denver, and Broomfield. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great place. Much better than other vets I've been to. They treat animals as if they were their own. I've never seen a dog so happy to go to the vet.
August 19 · Lisa RodriguezWe took our sweet baby recently because he was sick (not eating nor drinking for 3-4 days). He was seeing and they did some labs and gave us 0 answers. The vet told us he probably had been poisoned or had some sort of cancer. Just for the labs itself was $350 and she suggested additional X-rays for an additional $550. This was just to possibly get a diagnosed. I was disappointed that if the vet thought he was poisoned didn’t offer anything to maybe help him in any way. Based on our visit we felt their priority was getting money and not seeking ways to help him have a chance of living. We felt our hands tied with no clue even with labs what was wrong with him. Our sweet baby now rests in heaven. We felt so hopeless to not know what happened to him nor how to help him. I would not recommend this place. Staff was nice but we felt they had no empathy. We miss our sweet angel 😢
February 23 · Athenas CanalEveryone here is so kinda and helpful. From the front desk, nurses to the Dr. They take great care of both your pet and the owner. Going to the vet can be stressful for my dog (and me) and they go above and beyond to minimize that stress as much as possible. They all are so easy to work with and I'm very grateful they are my neighborhood vet!
August 28 · Derek WarnerI’ve read some of the reviews and honestly, i’m not sure they are reviewing the same vet clinic i took Hendrix to. The front desk staff are very nice and welcoming! Smiles and just really a great way to greet their patients and the patients humans. Hendrix was immediately taken back to an exam room and the vet tech was sooooo nice and so good with Hendrix! She was so in tune with him and also listened to what my expectations are and my concerns about how much I could spend. They did everything right there in the exam room and I was able to stay with him. And no one called him fat! lol… I'm very happy with the care they gave my puppy love! And it was a little pricey but totally worth it and I’ll be bringing him back for all of his vet needs 😊
May 07 · DashHad a great experience at Eastlake Veterinary Services and plan to make this place our main vet. We just moved here from Texas and was recommended this location from Thrive. Our dog was starting to have allergies so bad that she was scratching herself to bleeding. We came in for an exam and to get more Apoquel (previous medicine which worked).Everyone was very friendly and kind to our dog. Our dog gets anxious around other dogs (due to being attacked by one as a puppy) and we appreciate how everyone there at Eastlake were understanding and worked with us to be in and out without any issues.Dr. Emily Miller and the other staff were very knowledgable and addressed any questions or concerns we had with great details. They provided us a good solution to our dog's problems and its already starting to look better for our dog's allergies. Thanks again Eastlake Vet Services! We will definitely be back when the time arises.
