Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
Took my 8 year old kitty here for the first time today and had a great experience. The receptionist was very kind and every vet I spoke to was kind, thorough and understanding. I got an appointment quickly. When I was nervous about leaving my kitty there for her appointment, they assured me that she would be comfortable and in an area with no dogs so she would be calmer. They even had a TV to play cat TV for your babies while they're staying.Heavily recommend and will return in the future, thank you so much for taking good care of my Ella 💖
Jan 03, 2025 · Amber MarsdenWe are newbies to Banfield. We followed Dr. Corbett from our last vet. We are happy with the transition! The wait times are short, appointments are nearly always available within a few days AND everyone is welcoming! Dr Corbett and Ginger took great care of us! 🐾
Dec 11, 2024 · Lacy RauchI brought all 3 of my tiny pups in for a comprehensive 6 month exam. 13 lb Yorkie, 5 lb, 3lb chihuahuas. They are treated always with kindness and care. Never a bad moment or cross word. I feel very comfortable there and they always answer questions for me kindly.I love bringing my furbabies there plus my 2 cats and will continue to do so. They are all on optimum wellness plans.
Jun 27, 2024 · Donna CorderoI love this hospital. I have two pit mixes and they love every staff member in the building. Every single time my husband and I take our babies here we are treated with patience and kindness. Our dogs are never afraid or upset when they are in the exam rooms nor when we pick them up.My baby boy had a huge surgery removing his left broken/rotted canine and Dr Corbett reassured me and my baby Bruno that he would be okay.Following after he got a bad intestinal infection and they also were able to help us out with the right medication and reassure me that he would be okay.I am thankful for such a great office that takes care of both the fur babies and the fur parents. I can be a pain. And I am totally aware of this but they continue to reassure me and support my questions as best as they can.We will always be patients of Banfield. Bruno and Brea thank you for keeping them healthy and happy! Tails wagging!!
Jun 30, 2024 · Michaela EadesI was out of town and had set up an appointment for my 14 year old cat, that was diagnosed with kidney disease, to have fluids done. Everything was set up with Dr. Corbitt for 4/8/25 when my boyfriend was going to take her in to get her 200ml of fluids done. When he got there, it was complete chaos. The front desk lady that he spoke with refused to put him in a room with my cat so that fluids can be administered even though an appointment was set up. Instead she told him that it would be "real quick and it will be ok". He begged her to put them in a room and was just given the same reply, so at that point he was afraid that they would refuse to give her her fluids if he pushed any further. (THAT IS NOT OK!!!) Before she was taken back, he made sure to tell her the questions I had left him and that she needs her 200ml of fluids. Her response to that was that she had talked to me earlier and that the doctor is aware of my questions. Yes she had spoken to me right before but I had let her know that I had given my boyfriend questions that he needed to ask so the nurse can give them to the doctor. So the lady completely flat out lied about that.Fast forward to the day after when I got home, I looked at her bag of fluids and saw that they had not even given her the correct amount. My cat is 14 years old! I had made everything clear with the doctor and we had come up with a plan to make sure that she would not be dehydrated while I was gone. But it looks like the front staff is not only a liar but also incompetent of relaying important messages to the nurses. They did not care enough about my poor fur daughter to give the proper directions that was related to her life threatening illness. I was appalled, especially after there had been an incident with front desk staff mistreating my dog last year. I had lost my trust but decided to give them another chance after speaking with their director Dr. Hercula, who at the time reassured me that the staff would be retrained.Once I called the next morning and asked to speak with either of my doctors, the person who picked up the phone happened to be one of the people that dealt with my cat that day. Since she said that both doctors were out, I went ahead and asked her questions about what had happened and why they had done things the way they did. She just gave me the excuse that it was a misunderstanding and that they would have put my cat in a room if asked, which WAS asked as stated earlier. So that's the first lie. Then when I asked why the proper amount of fluids was not given, her response was that my cat had become restless so they assumed that it was ok to not give the full 200ml. Again a lie, as they had told my boyfriend that everything went fine. (If they had not forced her to be taken back by herself and had gotten a room so that my boyfriend can be with her, LIKE IT WAS ASKED IN THE FIRST PLACE, then maybe she wouldn't have been so stressed out and restless!!!) Then she proceeded to rush me and tell me that she would leave the doctors a note to call me back and just hung up. This action made me feel that my message would never reach either of my doctors. So now I am writing this review in the hope that the hire up is able to see it and that I am able to talk to someone about what happened because none of this was ok in the slightest. The trust that the doctors built with me while working together over the past year, has completely been shattered because of an incompetent employee that did not care about my fur daughter. So please, if anyone reads this, I would suggest always double checking the work that this location does and not allowing your pets to be taken to the back unless completely necessary! It doesn't seem like everyone at that location is honest or actually cares enough to make sure that your pet is well taken care of!
