★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I’ve never had a veterinarian that was as dedicated, friendly and knowledgeable as Dr Wilson is. She cares about my cat like she cares about her own cats.My little Mona was diagnosed with diabetes almost two years ago but her blood glucose levels would remain high for weeks even after adjusting and changing her insulin. Dr Wilson eventually suspected that she may have acromegaly which was confirmed by a test. She contacted the oncology team at MU regarding the radiation therapy to treat the benign tumor and spent hours on the phone with me to make sure that I knew how this procedure worked and what to expect.Dr Wilson has gone above and beyond for Mona to ensure that she receives the best care possible and can live a healthy and happy life. I’m very grateful to have found a doctor who truly takes the time to listen, communicate and doesn’t dismiss my concerns and I would recommend Dr Wilson to anyone. July 01 · Julie
- I took two of my cats to FMA for about two years. It was all fine. Then I took in a stray kitten that I found in my yard for a wellness check, he got a clean bill of health on Monday.Over the week he stopped eating and did not seem well. I took him in the next Monday and was told he had an infection. Wilson said she was quite confident in her diagnosis but wanted to run a test and told me it was expensive but was the correct thing to do, so I agreed. She also wanted to keep him over night saying that would be the best way to treat him. I agreed to that too saying that I wanted him to get better. I was given hope that the kitten could recover.Tuesday I’m told he’s doing a little better, and that he should stay at the vets again overnight. Again, I agreed. By Wednesday, he had taken a turn for the worse and Wilson now thinks he has some other kind of infection and wants to run another (expensive) test even though the results from the first test were still not back. She also told me she could treat him without the test and he should stay overnight again. So, I agreed to that.Thursday, she called me early in the day so I knew it was going to be bad news. He was not doing well at all and it would be best to put him down. Before I could grasp that news she went on to tell me she wanted to have him tested for rabies.I questioned that and she immediately told me she did not want to get nasty (what?!) and I had to agree to it and pay for it.I was reeling, I had agreed to a lot of expensive treatment for a little stray kitten; I had willingly taken that on, so being threaten was really too much.I’ve waited a couple of weeks to write this, for perspective I guess, and to get the results from the rabies test. I had to ask for the results, they were Negative, so the little kitten lost his head for nothing.I cannot adequately express how much I regret that I took the kitten to FMA. Losing a sick kitty would have been a profoundly sad, but this became a horror. August 16 · Janet Simpson
- I found FMA by chance a few years ago when desperately calling vets trying to find someone to help us end a beloved family pets suffering. I was so blown away by their compassion towards both us and our pet that I moved all my fur babies care to FMA. Every time we visit whether it’s for routine visit or an emergency situation we and our babies are treated with the most kindness and compassion regardless of who we see. They prioritize animals health and well being and are fairly priced making it easy to choose them for vet care. August 15 · Jamie Hammans
- I took my pup in for her allergy shot and mentioned she had been scratching her ears. They immediately took her back to see the doctor and discovered she had ear infections. They put her on ear drops for 2 weeks to clear up the infection. She is already doing better. They always take great care of my little Josie. August 24 · pam fish
- I love this place! I love how they generally care for our fur baby‘a. My puppy had a very bad experience at another vet and this place have shown us nothing but kindness and compassion. They are trying their best to help my puppy breathe again thru her nose and have been very tentative to our needs. I wish I would have used them from the beginning!! August 18 · Suzanne Wendt
