★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We were with My Pets Wellness till they shut down all of a sudden. We were in search of a new place. We got a text or email from our former Vet Dr. That she would be here at Forest Park Animal Clinic. She is always great. The staff is nice and polite and love seeing our dogs. We have 6 dogs, so we will be there pretty much every couple months for well visits and what not.
August 29 · mark lisowskiI can’t recommend this place enough. Every time I visit, which is monthly, I’m blown away by the level of care my dog receives. The staff is unbelievably kind and loving toward your pets. They are also so incredibly sweet to you as well. I am so sad to be moving out of state and not have access to this place anymore. I take every opportunity to brag about this clinic to people because I feel so strongly about their level of care.
July 29 · Madison YaklinWe have taken all of our animals to Forrest park for years now and love them! Highly recommend any of the vets, they’re all amazing as well as the techs and front desk! Really amazing group of people.
June 26 · Matthew YorkThe staff are very friendly and patient. The doctor spends plenty of time with you and is genuinely concerned and caring. Really great place.
August 29 · Stephen BrayfieldWe took our dog here for years. When he started to get arthritis in his back legs, Forest Park recommended Librela, a once a month shot that was supposed to help. In the 13 months my dog took these shots, he lost a 3rd of his body weight, had a very hard time sitting or getting up, drank excessive amounts of water, and declined month to month. We asked questions about the medication, and were assured every time it was safe & affective. Librela ended up taking my dogs life. It caused bladder stones that kept him from being able to urinate at all. Forest Park has no on call, you are just out of luck unless its business hours. we took him to a ER vet who drained his bladder and told us to take him to his regular vet asap. we called FP the next morning, was told they would call us back. Called them back about 30 mins later to explain he had not urinated in almost 17 hours, and this was a life-or-death emergency. They told us they could not help and to reach out to an ER. The ER told us to reach out to them?!?! FP left us high and dry and wouldn't even assist in getting us into a pet ER. They took our money and failed us. They never once warned us of the awful side effects that come with Librela, and when we asked, were assured it was safe. I feel so betrayed that we were led to believe we were doing what was best for our boy, but the medication was literally killing him while we were told "it's safe". I found out after his death, the FDA had sent a letter to vets in December of 2024, basically stating to warn consumers of the risk of the adverse side effects. Forest Park never said a word. In fact, they gave him 3 more shots after that letter was sent out and never said a word to us. I asked several times for the owner of Forest Park to reach out to me, as I feel I'm owed an explanation as to why we were not warned after the FDA sent the letter, and nothing. Not a word. The silence is the reason for this review today. Not only did they take my money, but in my opinion, they are in part to blame for the death of my dog. My advice is, if you read this to the end, think twice and do your own research before allowing them to give your dog ANYTHING. They hid the side effects from us, and won't even reach out to explain why. Not even a sorry. nothing. I had to get rude to even get his records from them. Do yourself a favor, do not give your dog librela, and do not take your vets word as truth. I did this and now my boy is dead. let my story be your warning. I hope no one ever has to go through what we did.
