★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our full grown dog bit our puppy. We live about an hour away. Everyone local would not see our puppy. We called them and let them know how far away we were and what was going on. When we got there one of the staff members met us out side. She took him to the back immediately. All the staff that we interacted with were super friendly and kept us informed on everything they were doing with Azazel. They are very amazing.
July 21 · Dusty FalkI cannot express my deep admiration enough for the staff here. My 10 yo Aussie suffered from a splenic rupture. For three days the team worked tirelessly for my boy. They took my calls day and night. They arranged for me and my family to spend as much time as possible with him. I laid in that kennel for hours, holding him, talking to him and willing him to get better.Last Saturday, my boy died in mine and my ex partner's arms. They carried him to the family room where we joined him. My sister, brother-in-law and their kids were able to join us to say goodbye. We grieved.Techs and doctors came by to check on us and offer to answer any questions we may have had. We were never rushed to make decisions and were allowed as much time as we needed with him. Doctor Fitzpatrick even recommended a pet grief counselor to us.When I say these people did everything they could for my boy, I mean EVERYTHING.Losing him has left a chasm in my heart. But I am steadied by the knowledge that he was loved and cared for by such incredible people to his very last moments.Thank you.
April 02 · BlakeThe amazing people at this hospital saved my dogs life. They are so passionate about the care they provide. They wasted no time in getting my dog back and evaluated. They called me regularly and sent photos with updates and were so kind. They are amazing at what they do.
April 09 · Jamie JoharOur cat was refusing his dinner and meowing in pain one night. My spouse and I rushed him out the door to the nearest Pet Emergency Hospital, which luckily was Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital. This was a terrible night, but the Vet and the amazing techs took such good care of us and our fur child. I really appreciated how they did not rush into making big decisions. I was scared and needed time to process information. They gave my spouse and I all the time we needed to think over our options, and make the best decision. The vet was beyond compassionate, was a wonderful listener, and did not mince words regarding our boy’s treatment. They took such good care of us. Not that I would want to go through this experience again, but if I had to, I would go back.I could not recommend this place enough. They love animals and it shows. They gave my spouse and I numerous opportunities to ask questions throughout the night, and gave us great financial options when it came to costly treatments.P.S. - Our boy is back to being his spunky old self again. Turns out he was having a bad flare up of his Osteoarthritis that we were unaware of prior to that night.
June 24 · Michael DavisTook our livestock guardian dog in for a bite wound. Got 2 stitches and sent out the door. Stitches came out a few days and got infected. Most likely from the long hair they didn’t cut away all the way. Had to have our vet come out and redo everything. Our vet did amazing and healed up amazingly. Took almost a month of phone tag before I could get ahold of anyone to find a solution for this issue. Was told complications happen all the time and nothing they could do. Yeah you’ll see complications when you do sub par medical practice.. would give a 0 star if possible. Find another veterinary hospital, they just want your money
