The clinic is easily accessible once on post, and it offers key accessibility features such as a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and a wheelchair-accessible restroom, ensuring that it is accommodating for all visitors. Appointments are recommended to ensure you can be seen in a timely manner, as the clinic’s schedule can fill up quickly due to its high demand and mission-related priorities.
The clinic's primary mission is to provide veterinary support for government-owned animals, but it also extends its services to the pets of military families. While they do not handle emergencies, they provide a wide scope of preventive and routine care that is essential for maintaining your pet's health. Services Offered:
Health Care: This encompasses a variety of medical services, including routine physical exams, sick calls on a limited basis, and general medical consultations to address pet health concerns.
Prevention Services: The clinic focuses heavily on preventative medicine. This includes administering vaccinations for both dogs and cats, parasite testing and treatment (including heartworm medication), and flea/tick control to protect pets from common illnesses.
Routine Care: Beyond prevention, they offer essential routine services. This includes microchipping, which is a requirement for all animals living in on-post housing and is highly recommended for all other pets. They also provide routine surgical services like spaying and neutering.

This enables them to offer services at a significantly reduced price, often half of what off-post civilian clinics charge. This is a major financial benefit for military families, who can save a substantial amount on essential veterinary care, from routine check-ups to surgical procedures.
Professional and Caring Staff: The clinic is staffed by a great crew of dedicated and welcoming professionals. Customers consistently praise the staff and veterinarians for being helpful, understanding, and genuinely passionate about their work. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great crew and staff. Always welcoming and it's not difficult to obtain a timely appointment. Clean facilities, and I've have yet to see it crowded. They will also remind you of due outs for vaccines and normal prevention treatment. They will as well call you the day prior to confirm appointments.Chipping, vaccines, heart worm medication, and preventive treatment will cost you about half of what it will cost you at a normal veterinarian. It is not open to the general public and you need to have access to Fort Jackson to receive services. If you're a CAC-holder with pets, be sure to visit them for the non-emergency treatments and preventative care.
June 01 · Fabricio B.While this clinic is not open to the public, it is a great benefit to Servicemembers and their families. The prices are low in comparison to other clinics off the installation (Fort Jackson). I never had a dog until my current furry child. All the personnel at the clinic were very helpful with information and so understanding! I got my girl spayed there for half the price I was quoted at another clinic. Additionally, CPT Cole even gave me a courtesy call to let me know how the surgery went before I picked up my girl!!! I'm super happy with this place. The only thing I wish I could change is their available appointments. Understandably, they usually book up quick because priority goes to the Army mission, to include the working dogs and non-animal vet services.
January 28 · FlorThe staff was fantastic. The place was as clean as can be but the equipment is a disaster of rust and bad condition. The rain gutters on the outside had so much debris’s they are’s not functional. For a Army post I didn’t expect it to be high end but this was just too much. And the employees deserve a better environment as well. Since it is on an Army post I’m not sure who own the building but there’s no excuse not to clean the gutters and maintenance the outside much better. Again the staff was great prices were great. Also my GPS Lead me to a wooded area and said turn left in 300 ft there was no turn left or right I kept going and it said I had arrived but I was thick in a wooded area. So I turn around headed back and it showed me getting farther away so I turned again and had to follow my car on the map not the printed directions they were not the same at all. I never knew fort jackson had a wooded area that was big enough to get lost in lol.
