★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My sweet girl Pearl tore her CCL and meniscus.. Dr Stan fixed her up, she did incredible. We saw him for our 8 weeks later, had a check up on Wednesday, all good. That Saturday night she broke her tibia, same leg. Dr Stan did another amazing surgery and fixed Pearl again. Fast forward 8 months, Pearl (10 yr old Staffy) is living her best life, pain free and happy!!!!!
June 30 · Elizabeth BushnellWe recently had the pleasure of working with Dr. Stan for our Sarge’s ACL tear, and we couldn’t be more grateful for his exceptional care and professionalism. From the moment we walked into the clinic, Dr. Stan‘s warm and empathetic demeanor put us at ease. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, answering all our questions and even drawing diagrams to ensure we fully understood each step. Dr. Stan demonstrated a genuine concern for Sarge’s well-being and we highly recommend him to anyone in need of an animal surgeon. Thank you, Dr. Stan, for taking such wonderful care of Sarge and giving us peace of mind during a stressful time.
April 08 · Jennifer ForzanoMy girl has had two TPLO surgeries, both performed by Dr. Veytsman, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care she received. Not only is he an exceptional surgeon, but he also goes above and beyond to ensure both pet and owner are fully supported throughout the entire process. He was thorough with the pre-op consultations, kept me informed every step of the way, and the post-op follow-up has been outstanding. The entire staff at Capital Animal Hospital is friendly, compassionate, and always eager to help. As a veteran, I also really appreciate how military/veteran-friendly they are—it made me feel seen and respected. I truly trust them with my dog’s care and would recommend them 10/10 times.
July 13 · Amber LucyI highly recommend Capital Animal Hospital !Our lab, Elly May, had a TPLO procedure performed by Dr. Stan. I was very nervous walking into the consultation and the first thing he did was to talk to Elly May in such a kind way and I could feel the care he has for animals. He was very thorough in her exam and took time helping me understand the procedures she needed. The day of surgery, my husband and I dropped her off and as we walked to our vehicle, a dog mom came up to us after dropping her dog off also. She assured us how wonderful everyone was at this practice and that our pup is in great hands. The surgery was successful and the staff was amazing in how they cared for her and us getting ready to go home.Dr. Stan called to check on her when we got home and made sure we had his number and the office number if we had any questions or concerns.I’m not one to write reviews, but the care our girl received was exceptional !Elly May will have one more surgery to go on the other leg in the future and we know without a doubt she is in the best hands !
August 23 · Sandra YarboroughI came here from being referred from my vet for my doggie dealing with knee issues. Check in ladies were great and so sweet/welcoming. I went straight back to a room and shortly after was introduced to Dr. Suber. My dog LOVES people and honestly just wants to be held when he has these type of appointments. He maybe said hi to him and that’s it. I was told to grab him and put him on the exam table… I feel like as a doctor who decided to work with animals all day everyday would be EXCITED to see them and want to grab them himself and love on. NOPE! Not this doctor. My dog then tried getting his attention multiple times and simply to just be held while we spoke. My dog was just dismissed and kept being put down. I understand this is just an animal but this animal is my baby. Once appointment was over, check out lady came to the room to collect payment of 125$… for what? I got told he didn’t need this surgery with him not showing signs. GREAT but 125$ to get told he didn’t need this appointment. Why wasn’t this discussed over the phone? I sure hope the other doctors have more passion with animals then the doctor I saw. I did give my complaint to check out lady who was also super sweet!
