What is worth choosing
For Illinois residents in the Quad Cities area, choosing Furever Family Veterinary Care Center means prioritizing your pet’s emotional well-being as much as their physical health. The clinic’s status as a Fear Free certified practice is a game-changer for pets with anxiety, as it means every procedure, from a simple exam to a more complex one, is approached with a focus on minimizing stress. This not only makes the visit easier for the animal and owner but can also lead to more accurate diagnoses and better overall outcomes. The positive reviews from clients whose dogs were previously fearful of vet visits are powerful endorsements of this approach.
Beyond the Fear Free philosophy, the hospital’s AAHA accreditation is a significant indicator of its commitment to excellence. This voluntary accreditation means the clinic adheres to the highest standards of veterinary care, from its facilities and equipment to its patient care and surgical procedures. This commitment, combined with the comprehensive list of services—from dental extractions to senior pet care and surgical procedures—provides a single, trusted source for all of your pet's needs throughout their life. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We’ve trusted this clinic for many years and couldn’t be happier. The staff is always welcoming and kind, and our four dogs actually get excited to visit—not even our chihuahua shows any fear. They’ve been great about fitting us in for last-minute appointments when needed, and the cost has always seemed fair, even with four dogs. Three of them have each had at least one surgery here with no issues at all. Luna, Maren, Bailey, and Albie are all big fans of Furever Family!
August 27 · Michele CuchraThe friendliness of the staff is felt from the moment you walk in the door. I had made an appointment for a reoccurring ear infection for my goldendoodle, and the whole appointment from start to finish was a breeze. I was seen in a timely manner, my concerns were addressed, solutions were offered, and they made sure that my dog was comfortable the entire time. Furever Family is "Fear Free", which is HUGE considering my pup has some anxiety issues. Furever Family has made me a "Furever Client"! Dr. Hook is amazing! I would recommend this clinic to everyone!
April 28 · Mariah LoganVery kind considerate care given. All questions answered in detail I m very happy with care my puppy received from the reception staff up to and including clinical staff. Thank you again.
August 22 · Jeffrey SchattemanWe had to take my 15-year-old pitbull in and have her put down yesterday. They had a room all set up and waiting for us when we got there we did not sit in the waiting room at all .She wasn’t doing well. The vet and the vet tech were beyond amazing with us. We were in a room alone. We got to spend as much time with her there if we wanted to. They were very calm, very polite, very knowledgeable and helpful. Once she had been put to sleep, then let us go outside. They put Britta In a burial box because we were taking her to my brothers to be buried. They made us clay paw prints And got some of her haircut for us. It was heartbreaking going through what we had to go through, but they let us know we were making the right decision And to never forget that. We will miss our sweet girl forever
August 21 · Lynn NanceHave yet to have a less than great experience. They have helped me through the loss of my sweet feline as well as helping me navigate being a first time dog owner. They are most definitely a fear free facility for both the animals and owners. They are not the cheapest option in the area but the money you spend is worth it to know that you and your fur baby will be treated with kindness and compassion ALWAYS. I will always recommend Furever Family.Picture is of my chunk boy getting his hug while he gets his nailed trimmed. He still doesn’t love it but no nipping, shaking, or growling.. we will take it!
