One long-term client describes him as "the doctor of doctors when it comes to a vet" and notes that he has cared for their "beautiful Berner for many years." However, it is also important to acknowledge challenging feedback that is part of the public record for a clinic associated with this location. Local users seeking information should be aware of all public feedback. It underscores the critical importance of a thorough and responsible initial veterinary examination, and the profound impact that pet health outcomes have on families.

Gary P Vandyke Vet Reviews
If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a puppy that was apparently "vet checked" by Churchtown Veterinary Clinic on 6/9/23. We had the puppy for less than a week when she started throwing up blood and had to have an emergency surgery, which she did not survive. After contacting the breeder we got the puppy from, I was told the vet told her neither her or the vet are responsible. This is deplorable. If you can't stand behind your "checks" then you probably shouldn't be in practice. My three kids are devastated, but please don't take any responsibility for that either. We gave the puppy the only chance she had at surviving and are now out over an extra $1,000 for the surgery and vet bills. I truly hope no one has to go through what we have because of callous care and downright awful practices.Side note the vet that did the surgery told us it was the absolute worst blockage she had ever seen and it had been there for months. MONTHS! The poor puppy was slowly dying for months, but no one will take any responsibility for it.
Aug 22, 2023 · Erin NizerI have never met a finer vet, Gary is the doctor of doctors when it comes to a vet. He has taken care of my beautiful Berner For many years.
Sep 30, 2022 · Kathleen ThompsonDo not go here and do not trust these people with your pets. Their right and license to practice should be revoked. These people work with puppy mills handing out fake health certifications for dogs that should not be bred. They are contributing to the pain and suffering of countless animals. They are the exact opposite of what it stands for to be a Veterinarian and should be ashamed.Edit- The supposed vet Gary P VanDyke is actually operating under an expired license as well after doing some research.
Sep 21, 2023 · Megan GriffinThey are to be an emergency vet!! I had an emergency with a goat doe in distress during a delivery. Called several times, it “wasn’t a good time” “not convenient” for them to come out!! I lost THREE KIDS and almost lost my doe!!! Thank God I was able to find another vet that didn’t think twice about coming to help. Definitely reconsider if you are looking for an emergency or traveling vet!!! If there were negative stars they would get!!
