VCA SylvaniaVET Animal Hospital Reviews
I was able to get my dog in pretty quickly because they have tons of availability for appointments however the vet who took care of my dog was not good. I made the staff fully aware that my dog has anxiety. The vet tech was amazing with him but the vet was terrible. She came in, didn’t introduce herself, gave me a muzzle and told me to put it on my dog and then proceed to just come at him aggressively when he was obviously nervous and scared. It was not only traumatic for my dog but me as well because I was forced to put him in the muzzle and try to hold him down. I got the care needed but I’m not pleased with how we were treated.
Jun 26, 2025 · Sam SzymanowskiVery displeased at the service they were recommended to me due to my dog not cooperating with groomer. I came in with my free exam coupon to see a doctor and get ideas on why my dog was behaving this way. I had a student vet tech that weighed him with my help then walked him out to see if he would act up away from me. When she returned she had a paper stating my dog needed a flu shot and fecal testing before grooming and another appt totaling $500+ dollars then I let them know multiple times I’m not interested. Then she sent in another person who felt like a car salesman keep trying to get me to sign the paper agreeing to the cost that I said no to. No doctor ever came in the room and did any exam . I do not recommend this place at all I ended up leaving the facility due to being uncomfortable. Being in customer service and the medical field this is very disappointing to experience.
Apr 29, 2025 · Damore UpchurchThey did what they could, unfortunately it was my baby kitties time to cross the rainbow bridge. It's not cheap, but it never is. I appreciate their efforts and compassion...
Apr 06, 2025 · William HalbertI have been a long time customer of this vca, i have never had a problem before today. they added an extra charge to my paperwork for something i specifically said i didnt want and clarified before they did it. but because i didnt notice they stuck an extra charge on there i was forced to pay it. If you come here, beware this. read the paper work carefully because you could so easily get scammed. i have never once read the paper work because why would the treatment plan be something different than what we talked about ?? the manager was rude and had an attitude the whole time, she wasn't professional and truly made me want to never come back. but the vets here are good, be aware when you come here.
Jun 20, 2025 · syd halli’ve had to bring two of my senior cats in recently. i truly cannot say enough great things about this office. the entire staff is so kind, knowledgeable and compassionate. they genuinely care about all of the animals that come through. my old boy was diagnosed with diabetes, dr. earegood took the time to explain everything to me (several times), wrote up several quotes and made sure to be transparent and understanding with the costs, and has made sure i have a plethora of information with the most genuine invitation to call if i have any questions. i have called 10+ times in the past week, EVERY single person i have spoken too has been an angel. they have made a scary and upsetting situation so much easier for me and my boy. so proud to say they are our vet & would recommend them 100000x!
