However, the clinic's reputation is not without its challenges, with some customers expressing serious concerns over past diagnostic accuracy and communication issues, particularly regarding scheduling and managing severe chronic conditions, which resulted in significant worry and expense. The clinic has shown a willingness to adapt, with clients noting the quality of newer veterinary staff. Despite past difficulties reported by some long-term patrons, the clinic remains a resource for many Wisconsin families, offering a wide array of services that are crucial for maintaining Pet Health and ensuring Pet Safety.

While the clinic’s history includes noted inconsistencies in communication and past diagnostic challenges, the strong positive reviews regarding the staff's gentleness, fairness in pricing, and supportive preventative care advice suggest a dedicated effort to uphold a high standard of patient experience. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Everyone here is amazing! My cat has always been a bit aggressive at vet visits elsewhere and the techs and veterinarians here are wonderful with her, I have even noticed she's much calmer here than anywhere else I've taken her. They are always patient, calm, and gentle when interacting with her. Pricing on services are very fair and everyone has always been more than approachable and helpful with questions and recommendations for preventative care. Wonderful clinic and clinic staff! - We go here periodically. I Had my last cat there who passed away due to the fact that the doctor missed a tumor in her stomach. He told us to change her diet we paid over $1,000 in vet bills for them to keep telling us change her diet change her diet then the hundreds of dollars on specialty food for her . Nothing was helping nothing was changing! We ended up going to a different vet. She had to be put down because she was in such bad shape that the vet just said there was no chance for her. Fast forward to a year later we hadn't been seeing them for a while and we decided to see if maybe they had different vet. The new vet wasn't the problem he was a very good one he did a very good job with my other cats! Yet they still had the one that missed the problem with my other cat and kept telling us it was just her diet that was the problem. We scheduled an appointment for my cat who had very bad sores on her stomach I was told my appointment would be at 4:30 being that I work third shift and I have to sleep during the day. The lady seemed like she understood that...obviously she didn't because fast forward to our appointment we shove our poor baby into the cage crying and yelling and throwing a fit because obviously she doesn't want to be in there. She knows this cage generally means bad news... we drive her all the way across town in the hot 90° weather walk in with her. Then we are told that we have to reschedule your appointment I said oh my God why what happened is everything okay? Yes your appointment was at 4:10 I said No! I talked to the lady my appointment was at 4:30 she didn't say anything. Then she tells me that she called me today to let me know that my appointment was at 4:10 and then I was late. I look at my phone my phone had a voice message from .22 seconds ago as I was walking in the door i got the call!!!!! So needless to say I will be finding a new vet! I wouldn't waste your time going here because this isn't the only time I have dealt with bad situations with them. not only them but if you actually dig into the reviews you will see plenty of people complaining about bringing their animals in spending tons and tons of money to get nowhere and that was my experience with my poor baby that had to be put down! I spent all this money on her to get nowhere just to watch her slowly disappear into nothing she's lost more and more weight every time I saw this vet and I still got the same answer change your diet I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to change her diet on top of the thousands of dollars we spent bringing her into the Vet I feel sorry for anybody who waste their time here. Oh and if you need more examples I also brought my other cat in who had an allergen problem he was chewing the back of his fur and his belly completely off we brought him in to find out what was going on with him same thing changes diet we did that we continue to do that and he didn't change if anything he got worse we went to the vet across town they ended up finding out that he had an allergy and they got him looking better I mean I can keep going with the bad reviews I've had with them but unless I want to travel 45 minutes away I had no choice but to try going back here! - We recently had our old pup euthanized; we choose Gentle Healers by referral. They were so good to us; I can't express my gratitude to this group of individuals enough. They were so helpful with talking over everything before making any decisions. The Staff is so helpful and very knowledgeable in regard to any questions you may have. I will continue to reach out to Gentle Healers should I need help with our pets.Thank you so much for the sympathy card and paw print of Zeus. that was so sweet to see and a nice surprise. The kids loved it. November 27 · Cory Peters
- The staff are wonderful! Not only do they prioritize the wellbeing of my pets, but they make sure the communication is clear and all answers are fully addressed. The consideration and time given to me as the owner as much as my pets matters, and the Gentle Healer Pet Clinic finds the perfect balance! Best Care I have received for my pets compared to anywhere else! Beautiful end of life services as well, and their costs are more affordable than any other place I've gone. We've found our permanent Vets for life. March 20 · Melody Pickens
- This clinic used to be amazing when Dr. Scott was there, but it now seems like staff has less passion for helping animals and more for squeezing as much money out of you as possible. I took my dog to the lake mills vet for an ear issue and they were amazing. The doctor took time to clean the ears, which I didn't get charged for, gentle healer wanted to charge me $32 for cleaning the cats ears, the doctor at lake mills also put the medicine in himself. This is not something gentle healer has done. The dog was given Mometavet and I was charged $32.50. My cat had the same ear issue and was given meds but gentle healer charged me $61.90. I would highly recommend the Lake mills vet as pricing and level of care are superior to gentle healer. July 16 · N
