SF Vet Hospital Reviews
My cat William needed more timely care than my current vet was able to provide. I reached out to SF Vet Hospital and they were able to get William seen in a quick timeframe. I can’t begin to express the level of care that William received. Everyone we encountered was extremely kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to provide top notch care. Dr. Gil and all the technicians were amazing. In all of my years of being a cat parent (40 years), this is the most positive experience I’ve ever had. They made sure all of my questions were answered as well as being clear about next steps. I can’t recommend them highly enough. We’ll definitely continue working with them through William’s end of life care.
Jun 13, 2025 · JT BrownI have taken my senior 15+ chihuahua mix to SF Vet Hospital a few times over the last few years. This last time was for an emergent situation. They are always able to get us in quickly which is near impossible unless you go to an actual emergency vet.My dog ended up needing an unexpected surgery and the staff was so kind and gentle with not only my dog but also me (who was a nervous mess full of anxiety having to put my senior dog under anesthesia). Not only were they so re-assuring, they even called me during her procedure to update me on the progress and let me know my dog was doing well. I cannot express my gratitude for their thoughtfulness. The care provided each visit has been phenomenal and the staff is amazing. Dr. Gill is wonderful and I am so happy to have found this place.
Jul 06, 2025 · Sarah MAvoid this place! My dog had the biggest suffer in her whole life and I wasted both time and money to deal with this.My dog came here for a simple allergy shot and normally she would feel better right away based on our multiple experience at our previous vet.But this time. She is healing slower. And two days later she developed severe symptoms. Face swelling, eye swelling, neck swelling. Hard to breathe, Diarrhea. Then comes with full body hives, skin rash.I brought her back. All they did was blaming me rejected their medical shampoos and stuff that is not causing her symptoms. My dog had never been so sick in her whole life. We had three days of suffering. Coming back the only thing they care is to charge us more on recheck exam, and just keep arguing this is not their fault without doing anything to even comfort my dog. They slightly had better attitude at the end and gave us a medical shampoo. That’s why I’m giving one more star.
Jan 14, 2025 · li yThe crew at SF Vet Hospital were so wonderful. I just moved to the area and my 5yo dog was having difficulties breathing. They took us in immediately, and diagnosed the issue quickly. Kalina, our nurse, and the staff were so sweet and comforting and I know my dog was very well cared for. I found my local vet :)
