The decision of which veterinary clinic to choose is often made based on the experiences of other pet owners, and the reviews for Thrive Pet Healthcare - Village Station are a powerful testament to their exceptional care. One client’s review is a story of hope and life-saving expertise, with a family thanking Dr. Hayashi for "saving my dog's life." The reviewer had spent "hundreds and hundreds" at a previous vet without a resolution, feeling desperate. After a brief stay at an emergency hospital, they found Thrive, specifically the Village Station location. The client praises Dr. Hayashi's ability to "identified the issue & got to work on a long term treatment," giving them "hope" and confidence that their dog would make it. The dog had been in pain for over two months and had been lethargic, but after the treatment, he showed "MASSIVE improvements" and was finally playing with his toys again. This story is a powerful endorsement of the clinic's expertise, diligence, and compassion. The reviewer also makes a crucial point about the clinic not being one of "those places that just wants to take your money," which is a significant concern for many pet owners.
This review also highlights the staff's dedication, noting that Dr. Hayashi performed nearly the entire appointment from the floor to make a small chihuahua feel comfortable. This simple act of compassion speaks volumes about the level of personalized care they provide. While another review mentions a negative experience with a specific employee, the overwhelmingly positive feedback for Dr. Hayashi and the other staff members shows a consistent commitment to excellence. The reviewer who brought a Great Dane in for surgery and said the staff was "incredible" and "100% top notch" is likely referring to this location as well, given the context. The consensus is that the veterinary staff is highly skilled, caring, and dedicated to the well-being of the pets they treat. The willingness to provide a higher level of care, and to do so with genuine empathy, is what makes Thrive Pet Healthcare - Village Station (Forest View Animal Hospital) a valuable and trustworthy choice for pet owners across Illinois, solidifying its reputation as a place that truly cares.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We love coming here (e.g., service, prices, most staff) except for one aspect. There's one employee who has been unbelievably unprofessional and was even reprimanded by other staff for improperly grabbing our dog. She brings her dog into work and they are not friendly. She specifically told me her dog does not like cats and I'm not comfortable bringing mine there anymore. Everyone has to pass that dog and my cat currently likes dogs. I aim to keep it that way. A business is no place for an unfriendly pet, no matter the circumstances of the employee. They need to find other arrangements. We pay for the Thrive membership for both pets but have begun to reconsider a new vet because of this one employee. We do not want to deal with her anymore at all. We've been ignored, disrespected, and feel she's confrontational. If she's still there next time I call to make an appointment, it will be our last
June 12 · Nicole KingI’ve been thinking how to effectively articulate my experience with Dr. Hayashi & her staff. I am not being dramatic when I say, DR. HAYASHI SAVED MY DOG’S LIFE! After several years with a vet in Palatine, I needed to make a change. I was desperate to save my sick pup & my previous vet was the reason we were in this mess. Hundreds & hundreds spent on this particular illness & I was no closer to a resolution. I found Thrive, specifically the VILLAGE STATION location, online & brought him in after a brief stay at an emergency hospital. Without going into the very long details, I’ll sum it up by saying that she identified the issue & got to work on a long term treatment. Most of all - she gave me hope. I was finally confident that he was going to make it. This dog looked like he was not long for this earth and look at him now!!! Over the last 2 weeks we began to see improvements... and then MASSIVE improvements but still remained on guard. After 2+ months of pain & medications and 2 procedures later here he is today playing with a stuffy that he hadn't given any attention in over 2 months. She did this! My family and I have more time with our fur-baby because of her expertise, diligence & compassion. This is not 1 of those places that just wants to take your money. I left a place like that.It says a lot about a Dr. when they do nearly the entire appointment from the floor because their patient is a 7# chihuahua & only 6” tall.So all that to say, this is the place pet parents have been searching for that everyone said didn’t exist because that's just how the industry is. It does. It’s here at The Golf Road, Village Station location. It’s here with Dr. Hayashi & her amazing staff. 🩵
January 13 · Jaime Nicole PediconeMy dog had an issue I knew she was ok but really needed to be addressed they took their time w me and Angel to see what the issue was and is there anything else going on. They didn’t push me to do anything w testing they encouraged it so I told them to do the works since she is an older dog and we take care of her we wanted to know and make sure we set her up right by getting results. They did the tests that we could do in the office and explained everything and handed me paperwork so in case I forgot something.I got the results a couple days later and the vet explained everything and I hung up happy. The facility is very clean and at the time there was a puppy coming in sick and they made sure our dogs didn’t cross paths. Very grateful for that.We will be using them moving forward for our visits. I also did sign up for the membership prior knowing we knew tests were going to happen. Saved $ and got nail trim for the $5 and they did more than expected.
January 04 · Niki PizzaExtremely unfriendly customer service staff. Made me feel like I was just bothering them after taking over $2,000 of my money. Unreal.
July 18 · JackI wish I could give a lower review. I brought my cat Haru here a couple days ago because she hadn’t been eating and was acting very strange and would cry in pain, they ran tests and said they would give her fluids but didn’t know what was wrong. I take her home and she is still the same so I took her to another vet that actually did something and didn’t just take my money. They told me that she in fact was not given fluids at this veterinary hospital and now she is back to normal plump and happy. Just hope yall can do better with the other patients.
