Malaherd Veterinary Hospital Reviews
I have a cat that had a very bad experience in a veterinary hospital on the East Coast, so he is usually terrified of going to the vet. Malaherd, on the other hand, is the most laid-back vet hospital I've been to in 70+ years of owning pets. My cat is visibly less distressed going there, and when he comes home he is not so stressed out that he's a basket case for the rest of the day. This is due, I think, to the extraordinary staff at Malaherd. Even *I'm* less stressed going there than I was at the previous place. I highly recommend Malaherd Veterinary Hospital.

Jun 12, 2025 · deborah friedmanSuper professional hospital! So happy with the way they treat our Copper! 🥰 they took the time to explain to me every detail about how to start training my puppy
Feb 21, 2025 · ANGELES PenaReceptionist was terrible. I'm guessing I made the mistake of calling ahead of time to see if their schedules were on time as my dog stresses out. Clearly she had a problem with me even though I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment. She gave the three customers that arrived AFTER me rooms. Only after a tech returned from lunch and noted my sitting in the waiting area and asked if I'd been helped did my dog get seen.
Jul 03, 2025 · John Winston⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️As a first-time puppy owner, I was really worried when my 9-week-old puppy, Zara, started showing signs of a UTI—barely peeing and even spotting a little blood. I couldn’t get into her original vet, and luckily, Malaherd Veterinary Clinic was able to get us in first thing in the morning. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Exelby and the team made me feel at ease. She came out to meet us personally and walked me through what they planned to do. Even though I was sad to leave Zara for the day, they assured me I could call anytime—and I did! Within an hour, they called to give an update and let me know she also had a double ear infection. They cleaned her ears and kept working on getting a urine sample, keeping me updated throughout. When I picked her up, they confirmed she had a UTI and sent us home with everything we needed to treat both issues. The team was so kind and thorough—explaining every step, answering all our questions, and treating Zara with so much care. They even told us how well-behaved she was all day and trying to howl like the bigger dogs!We had such a positive experience, and I’m incredibly grateful for their empathy, professionalism, and quick action. Thank you, Malaherd Vet, for taking such good care of our little girl!
