★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is probably the most difficult review I've ever done but I feel as though it must be done.Recently I had to take my cat to the emergency animal hospital to be put down due to some serious medical conditions.I cannot stress enough how welcoming, and supportive the staff were.I was able to hold my little Zoey while she was being put to sleep, which it might not sound like it, but it was a very special moment for me because I knew that she would not die alone. She died knowing that I loved her very much and that I wished it didn't have to come down to this. I hurts me greatly still, but it was the best option for her considering the circumstances. The hospital staff went completely out of their way, way above and beyond what I was expecting for them to do.Everything from the urn for my kitty, to the packaging, and today(what made me do this review) is they even sent a card with hand written condolences from the very same staff who cared for her during her last moments. This is just so touching and emotional that I'm tearing up while writing this review.I cannot thank the hospital staff enough for the absolute extended sympathy. You all are just wonderful, wonderful people.Thank you so much for making such difficult time for me a little less stressful.
August 23 · Renon GuttsuMy little kitten girl passed away last week. The staff was prompt, compassionate, communicative, and sent me and my family a sympathy card. I appreciate the care they gave us in her last few hours of life. (Thanks, for caring for my Yoli).
July 25 · Kristen ScottThis review is long overdue! The first week of Jan 2025 my dog accidentally ingested a small toy that he was chewing on. He started vomiting in the middle of the night and continued vomiting the following day, couldn't keep anything in. When I called Banfield I was told they only had appointments available for the next day. By 5 pm he was getting really lethargic and I could tell something was really wrong. I took him to the nearby animal hospital, but they had closed. Desperate, I called Metropolitan Animal Emergency, and took him there. The doctor suggested we do labs and scans to see what was going on. Scans showed he had a foreign object stuck in his intestine, leaving emergency surgery as the only option. As terrified as I was of my dog having to do surgery and the prospect of possible complications, the staff assured me he was in good hands. After I went home they called me and informed me when they were taking him in, and the doctor personally called me when they got out of surgery to let me know it went well. The doctor that was coming in for the day shift also called me and assured me my dog was recovering and had no complications. I later that evening brought him home to start the recovery process. The next day the provider who did the surgery called me to ask how Puggy was doing, and they were always available to answer my questions during Puggy's recovery process. Two months later, Puggy is doing great and back to his old self, and I couldn't say thank you enough to the doctors and staff who took care of my dog. I appreciate you! You saved my dogs life and for that I'm immensely grateful. Great customer service from beginning to end!❤️
March 29 · Kidist KebedeMy dog was spayed and I was told the surgery went very well. “normal day”The only challenge I have is everything is done by email. More Senior people have issues with email, etc. Also, it would have been nice if someone would have called to inquire on how my dog was doing on day 2 after the spay. Otherwise I was very pleased with service
June 15 · April de BremondI am extremely touched by the extra special care and attention received when I recently brought in my little kitten Stella. She fell ill suddenly and it was an unexpected impact when I had to make the hard decision to bring her in for End of life.Everyone at the Vet was very professional and kind, most of all kind.I especially want to thank Dr. Julia Yeh who helped Stella pass on as well as Juan who after came in and gentle took her away in his arms.Thank you all very much, especially for the very nice letter I received with everyone's wishes in it.You are all quite amazing and it's clear the love that you have as you cared for my little girl.
