Mile High Mobile Veterinary Services Introduce
For pet owners across Colorado, particularly those within the vibrant Denver area, the thought of taking an anxious or elusive cat to the vet, or managing multiple pets for routine appointments, can be a daunting prospect. Traditional clinic visits often involve car rides, unfamiliar environments, and the presence of other animals, all of which can significantly elevate a pet's stress levels. Mile High Mobile Veterinary Services, with the highly regarded Dr. Jasmine Wolcott at the helm, provides a revolutionary solution: expert, compassionate veterinary care delivered directly to your home. This service is transforming how Denver locals approach their pets' health, making it a comfortable and positive experience for all.
Mile High Mobile Veterinary Services operates on the understanding that a pet's familiar environment is often the best place for their care. Dr. Jasmine Wolcott is celebrated by her clients for her exceptional ability to connect with animals, especially those who are typically "feral at heart" or become "super anxious and upset" outside their comfort zone. Her approach is rooted in genuine care and a friendly demeanor, ensuring that even the most timid pets, like a rescued feral cat named Bentley, can receive necessary treatments, such as rabies vaccines, without becoming "all worked up." This dedication to stress reduction not only benefits the animal but also provides immense peace of mind for pet parents.
The core philosophy of Mile High Mobile Veterinary Services is convenience combined with high-quality, personalized care. They understand that every pet is an individual, and their emotional well-being is just as important as their physical health during a veterinary visit. By eliminating the need for travel and clinic waiting rooms, Dr. Wolcott creates an environment where pets can remain calm and cooperative, allowing for more accurate examinations and a more pleasant experience overall. This commitment to reducing anxiety and providing tailored care is why so many Denver families "highly recommend" this mobile vet service and are "extremely happy" with their choice.
Mile High Mobile Veterinary Services is based out of 820 S Monaco St Pkwy, Denver, CO 80224, USA. However, it's crucial to understand that their "location" is primarily defined by the homes and properties of their clients throughout the greater Denver area. As a mobile veterinary service, they bring the clinic directly to your doorstep, eliminating the need for you to transport your pets.
This model significantly enhances accessibility for a wide range of pet owners in Colorado. It's ideal for those with multiple pets, large dogs, elderly or mobility-impaired animals, and especially those with anxious or "feral" cats who find traditional clinic visits incredibly stressful. The convenience extends to busy individuals who may struggle to find time for appointments, as scheduling is designed to be flexible. While their physical address is a base of operations, the true accessibility lies in their ability to serve various neighborhoods across Denver, bringing expert veterinary care into the comfort and familiarity of your pet's own home.
As a mobile veterinary service, Mile High Mobile Veterinary Services focuses on providing a comprehensive range of preventative and routine care that can be comfortably performed in a home setting. While they may not offer advanced surgical procedures or extensive diagnostic imaging that require specialized stationary equipment, their services are designed to meet the majority of a pet's essential health needs. Based on the client reviews and typical mobile vet offerings, services likely include:
- Wellness Examinations: Thorough physical check-ups performed in a stress-free environment, which are crucial for maintaining overall health and detecting potential issues early.
- Vaccinations: Administration of essential vaccines, including rabies and other core vaccinations, tailored to your pet's age, lifestyle, and local risk factors. This is particularly highlighted as a major benefit for anxious pets.
- Preventative Care & Parasite Control: Comprehensive deworming treatments and prescription for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
- Microchipping: Insertion of permanent identification microchips to greatly improve the chances of reuniting lost pets with their owners.
- Minor Procedures: Services such as nail trims, anal gland expression, and basic wound care can often be performed comfortably at home.
- Diagnostic Sample Collection: Collection of samples for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, which are then sent to external laboratories for analysis.
- New Puppy & Kitten Visits: Initial health checks, vaccination series, and guidance for new pet parents on proper care and socialization.
- Senior Pet Care: Tailored wellness plans and management of common age-related conditions, ensuring comfort and quality of life for older pets in their familiar surroundings.
- Quality of Life Consultations & Home Euthanasia: Providing compassionate end-of-life care and peaceful euthanasia services in the comfort of the pet's home, allowing for a dignified farewell surrounded by loved ones.
For more complex medical issues, emergencies requiring hospitalization, or specialized surgeries, Mile High Mobile Veterinary Services would typically refer clients to a full-service veterinary hospital in the Denver area.
Mile High Mobile Veterinary Services, and specifically Dr. Jasmine Wolcott, are distinguished by several key features and highlights, as consistently praised by their clientele:
- Exceptional Compassion and Friendliness: Dr. Jasmine is described as "so friendly and sincerely cares for her fur patients!!" and "so nice and helpful." This warm, empathetic approach is crucial for building trust with both pets and their owners.
- Remarkable Ability with Anxious and Feral Pets: This is arguably their most significant highlight. Clients explicitly mention the service being "imperative to our selecting a vet" for cats that are "skittish" or "feral at heart" and "get super anxious and upset" at traditional vets. Dr. Jasmine's ability to get a pet like Bentley to receive a rabies vaccine "without even mak a noise" is a testament to her gentle handling and understanding of animal behavior in a familiar setting.
- Stress Reduction for Pets (and Owners): The core benefit of a mobile service is reducing stress. Clients express profound relief that their pets don't get "all worked up," and consequently, they "didn't have to get all worked up!" This creates a much more positive experience for the entire household.
- Convenient and Prompt Service: The "at home visits" are a major draw. Clients appreciate that "they return calls promptly and scheduling was convenient." This level of responsiveness and flexibility is highly valued by busy Denver residents.
- High Quality of Care: Despite the casual, in-home setting, the quality of care is consistently praised. Clients are "extremely happy" and "highly recommend" the service, indicating that the convenience does not compromise medical excellence.
- Personalized Approach: The one-on-one nature of in-home visits allows for more individualized attention and a better understanding of each pet's unique needs and environment.

Mile High Mobile Veterinary Services Reviews
Dr. Jasmine is so friendly and sincerely cares for her fur patients!! We had adopted a couple cats living in our yard. One warmed up to becoming a spoiled cat in our home..the other loves it on his time but still craves the adventures of being a feral a few hours a day. The at home visits were imperative to our selecting a vet and we are extremely happy with Mile High Vet Mobile. They return calls promptly and scheduling was convenient. Highly recommended!
Jun 07, 2019 · Leslie LeeI love this this mobile vet office and I can't tell you amazing Dr. Jasmine Wolcott is! I've had a feral cat rescue for 8 years now and although he has calmed down since rescuing him, he is still feral at heart and it's very hard to take him to the vet. He gets super anxious and upset. Having Dr. Jasmine come to our home, make such a difference and she is so nice and helpful. Bentley warmed up to her and didn't even make a noise when he got his rabies vaccine, I was so happy to see him not all worked up and in turn I didn't have to get all worked up!
Sep 01, 2018 · Kathryn GrossWe made an appointment with Dr Peter Wolcott for our 8yr old bull mastiff. He was great with her. Very gentle and easy with her. His observations and discussions about our dog were informative. While we are in the Denver area we will use Miles High Mobile Vet!
Aug 28, 2018 · Reese LuckyBest Vet experience we've ever had! Our German Shepherd is a high energy, high anxiety dog that does not like vets coming around and poking at him, however Dr. Wolcott handled him perfectly and was able to get everything we needed completed. He is both friendly and professional and we will definitely be using his services from now on!
Jul 30, 2017 · Colin MurchisonNot sure that these kids are still in business. I've been calling all week trying to get copies of my dog's records and can't get any responses from the business. I've tried emailing with no response. I tried their Facebook page, but it doesn't appear to be active, last post was 2012. At this point I'm pretty sure that I am gonna have to get my dogs shots all over again just cause these idiots won't answer their phone or return calls.
