Petco Reviews
Petco will always be a fav of mine. Over decades they’ve helped me with many of my pets. The friendly staff is knowledgeable. Prices r fair. And my current dog enjoys visiting.
Jun 24, 2025 · KayHorrible location!!!! I have refrained from writing a review for several months, but at this point, I must. Let me start with Grooming. The absolute worst!!! The manager over grooming always has an excuse about conflicting prices between what services was booked online versus what they attempt to charge you at checkout. Additionally, when questioned about services that were requested, paid for, but not rendered, she becomes defensive and claims "my staff needs coaching on correct procedures". Today I dropped my fur baby off for a 915am appt and they didn't finish until close to 1p... and that was only after I came back to the store to check on him. Her excuse was that she had to send an employee home and only had one tech.. yet she was just standing around. Upon pick-up, I noticed that my baby's face hadn't been trimmed, fur was still overgrown over his eyes, etc. I immediately asked that it be fixed. The manager quickly responded by saying "we don't provide that service" and I asked, "Since when!?? I get this service every visit." She then changed her story and stated "It depends on the individual groomer." At this point, I told her that I was contacting customer complaints because you're a joke and I can't take nothing that you say at face value. She then agreed to fix it. It's really sad that one has to go through all this just to get adequate services! I spend so much money here at this location. Ironically, after checking out with her, I walked to the register up front to purchase food and allergy meds and a group of elderly ladies with their dogs asked "awwh, look at him. Is he headed to get groomed?" I laughed and said "no ma'am, we just left". The lady had a fit and tried to convince me to take him back over there bc you could visibly see the horrible job that was done. She informed me of her experiences with this location grooming and recommended me that I try this company that now handles her pet grooming needs. Needless to say, I'll be changing. So please, read the reviews.. they are true. From the lack of skilled services in the grooming department, their dishonestly and lack of cohesiveness when it comes to services provided, the unprofessionalism of the manager, the fleas, etc. It's all true and our babies deserve better!!!
Jul 02, 2025 · Abbi JonesI'll shop here occasionally for better food for my dogs. The only problem I have. Is when stuff is marked down. It's best to take a picture of the price and the item. Don't expect it to be known in their system at the checkout. I always find out that I paid a little more when I look at my receipt. I hate to be a pain in the butt but going forward, I'm going to make sure that each piece is known before it's rang up.
May 29, 2025 · Jeff NortonToday at little over noon I encountered a line with just two customers in-front of the grooming desk in the store.I was there before my appointment 10 min early just to be on the safe side. Everything was okey until Tonya called me when I was next. I did not receive any eye contact until i approached. I did not care at first much but looked she let say was serious about her job including not even being friendly to a customer. I do not have judgmental personality but as I observed for a better customer satisfaction maybe she just has to know to smile to yourself and others even if whatever she is going through. Even if it is hard, leave your problems at home. You need take customer feedback not personal and be professional all times even though all employees can make a potential mistake because we are not perfect. Said that returning to the incident, in the one of the clinic room that she led and I had to visit with my pet, she used passive/aggressive attitude. I was truly not happy with her even if she had a point. Which I meant she started welcoming me first outside with a wonderful smile and being dead serious inside ending mad just because I confronted her just because it added on the previous behavior. I told her it was a busy day but she was not acting acceptable to me. She without looking at me once more time as if she cared asked “how did you felt un affordable ” I told her even if so I do not have to answer that question to you.” With any other words she lifted her left eyebrow and told me she will get me someone else instead which is she should have done before reaching her limits Secondly, I observed the other employees. Mackenzie Smith being very polite, helpful and respectful just the opposite. However, Lynn Payton not to mention had very pleasant hand “gesture” when another customer’s pet was coming out from the grooming. She wanted me to back off with my pet by her hand. Very creative indeed by her. She was one notch kinder than Tonya. Who am I object right? After all that i am happy just because of an unhappy experience I saw where their true colors is.
May 24, 2025 · King ArthurEveryone here is always so nice. I have never had a negative experience in this store. The prices are high, but the quality is good. The staff here is very knowledgeable and always happy to help. I love the convenience of being able to bring my dog inside with me And he even gets a free treat when we check out.
