★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We recently switched to Minnesota Veterinary Hospital as our old vet office closed. We had a great experience! Everyone was so kind and it was very clean. My 4.5 year old golden has a complex medical history. I was impressed that the veterinarian and the technician went through her history prior to our appointment. They did an amazing job with her checkup and labs. The also sent her blood work results over to the University of MN since we see them for her autoimmune disorder. We are very happy with the switch and will be coming to Minnesota Veterinary Hospital for years to come!
June 28 · Sarah IrwinI have always had wonderful service and care at this hospital over the years. Most recently it has involved my fifteen year old cat, Shadow - recently diagnosed with kidney disease. I've had her since she was just 7-8 weeks old and this is all an extremely important issue for me, so I've truly appreciated how they have always been so quick to answer questions, setup appointments, and confirm prescriptions when I'm ordering foods/meds for the first time somewhere. When there is so much else to think and worry about when a pet is sick, it's been very nice to know the hospital they're being seen by are so reliable and willing to communicate.Shadow's care has been handled excellently by Dr. Freed and Kayla, and everyone else that I've interacted with have always been nice and friendly as well. Dr. Freed and Kayla are always great with my numerous questions and concerns, and I was also shown how to give IV fluids to Shadow there. That was a concept that seemed quite sad and scary to me at the onset of it, but the demonstration was well done and things have been smooth since then. It's saving/extending her life, so I am very glad it was suggested by Dr. Freed and we got Shadow started on them right away.I am just very grateful and thankful for the competence and friendliness I've experienced here, and the time spent on Shadow's care both in-office and on the phone when having exams or test result conversations.I am still cherishing all of these "extra" days I have with my sweet girl and hope to be able to continue taking her to this hospital for years to come. Thank you from myself and Shadow!
March 02 · RobI switched vets about a year ago and I'm glad I did. My doberman had a mass cell tumor on his back. The professionals at Minnesota Veterinary Hospital were quick to assess the situation and get him in for surgery within a few weeks. I'm very thankful for the entire team. They helped me out tremendously. The care, cost and quality of people here will keep us coming back. I'm proud to say Hank is doing well and fully recovered 💪
July 17 · Show TimeThis Veterinary Hospital is like our family to us. We had excellent care for our previous pet and now we have a new family member who is also getting excellent care! Shout out to Dr. Amanda Nuth who is so kind and caring to our animals. Also Kelly in customer care is so helpful for all our questions and needs. Molly, is another Vet Tech who goes above and beyond for our pets. I highly recommend this family of animal lovers for your fur babies! Lori S. Shoreview, MN
July 05 · Lori SDisappointing Experience at Minnesota Veterinary HospitalI recently visited MN vet hospital , hoping for attentive and compassionate care for my pet. Unfortunately, the experience felt more focused on upselling services than providing quality customer service. From the moment I arrived, there was a strong emphasis on payment and add-on services rather than a discussion about my pet’s actual needs. Instead of offering clear explanations about treatment options, the staff pushed pre paying tests that seemed unnecessary or excessive. It felt more like a business transaction than a genuine effort to ensure my pet’s well-being.Additionally, the communication was rushed, my total visit was about 15 mins and cost about $400. Instead of feeling reassured, I left questioning whether my pet actually needed the recommended the tests or if they were simply an attempt to maximize revenue. While I understand that veterinary clinics need to operate financially, I believe care and transparency should come first. This is not my first experience like this at this clinic, I’m left wondering if there’s better options around the Twin Cities. I hope they reevaluate their approach and prioritize their clients’ trust over sales tactics.
