★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place has officially become my new go-to veterinary clinic. The entire staff was incredibly attentive, keeping me updated constantly and showing great sensitivity to both my furry baby’s needs and mine. Although my pet sadly succumbed to her diagnosis, I have no doubt she was in the best hands possible. While I wish I could have her back, I know this was beyond my control. I am truly thankful and grateful for everything the Parkwood staff did for both of us.
July 09 · Jackie Pratt-ReddenIt is always great! My fur babies are on the best hands! Love Dr. Clark
August 27 · Enid EsquivelA few months ago, my 13-year-old schnoodle, Maggie, became seriously ill. On a Friday morning, I had to leave for a work conference at 6:30am - my first major event since starting a new job. Maggie had thrown up that morning, but I hoped it was just an upset stomach. When I got home at 8:30pm, it was clear things were worse. She was lethargic, still vomiting, and visibly unwell. I felt this deep weight of guilt knowing she had been sick for over 12 hours while I had no choice but to be away. The next morning, I rushed her to Parkwood Animal Hospital. They didn’t have an open appointment, but they still made time to see her. I’ll never forget that. After assessing her, they referred me to Pearland Emergency Animal Clinic, which I’d never even heard of! I’d always gone to a different emergency vet that was, frankly, worse than average. But this emergency clinic was absolutely 5-star. They admitted Maggie immediately, and she ended up staying three days. That’s when we learned she had diabetes and pancreatitis.Since then, Parkwood has been my anchor. Learning how to care for a diabetic dog; giving insulin shots every 12 hours, feeding on a precise schedule, monitoring for warning signs, and bringing her in every 7–10 days for glucose curves, has been a huge adjustment. But I haven’t felt alone in it.Paige, one of the vet techs, has been a steady, kind, and reassuring presence throughout it all. She’s usually the one greeting me at the door when I drop Maggie off and again when I pick her up. She never rushes me, even when I know she has a hundred things going on. She listens, answers every question, and treats Maggie like she matters. That means the world to me.Just last week, Maggie had a small scare, and I brought her in on short notice. I told Paige about my anxiety over an upcoming four-day business trip - my first time traveling in more than ten years, and how much it pained me to think of Maggie in a metal kennel. Paige immediately said, “Have you heard about our luxury rooms?” I hadn’t! She described the little glass-door suites they offer—calm, quiet, with room for Maggie to move around and feel safe. I booked it right then and there. Then Barbara at the front desk (also amazing!) told me she’d let Maggie hang out up front with her during the day and gate off the area so she wouldn’t feel alone. That kind of thoughtfulness and care? It’s rare. And it gave me such peace of mind. Now I know when I travel, Maggie won’t just be okay... she’ll be happy. Safe. Monitored. Loved. And I can do my job with a full heart and clear head.I can’t say enough good things about Parkwood Animal Hospital. Their compassion, attentiveness, and genuine care have carried me through one of the hardest seasons of pet ownership. If you’re trying to find the right place to take your pet - Parkwood Animal Hospital is t. And if you get the chance to work with Paige, know that you’re in incredible hands. She absolutely deserves to be recognized for the difference she makes!
June 03 · Raegan HillThe perfect vet for my baby. They have the sweetest vets, very friendly and helpful/thorough when it comes to helping my dog. Will forever recommend this place for vet visits.
August 21 · Ashley BarronWe loved the professionalism and care the staff, vet techs and the veterinarians provided to our beloved maltipoo, Missy Mae. She had two surgeries on the same day and pulled through like a champ. She was afraid and nervous but the staff was very supportive in calming her down. There were excellent post-operative explanations given to us for her care along with a written explanation. A follow-up phone call the next day was very reassuring.Thank you immensely Parkwood Animal Hospital. You're the BEST!!!
