PetCure Oncology Central Office - Advanced Cancer Treatments for Cats & Dogs Introduce
For pet owners in Illinois, a cancer diagnosis for a beloved dog or cat is a devastating and frightening experience. In the past, such a diagnosis often left families with limited options. However, thanks to the advancements in veterinary medicine, there is new hope. At the forefront of this revolution is PetCure Oncology, a national leader in advanced cancer treatments for pets. While PetCure operates treatment centers across the country, their central office is strategically located in Bannockburn, IL. This office serves as the hub for a network of highly skilled veterinary oncologists and specialists, ensuring that pets throughout the Midwest, including Illinois, have access to cutting-edge therapies. Their mission is to provide compassionate care and innovative treatments to give pets a new lease on life, focusing on quality of life and precious time with their families.
PetCure Oncology was founded by a pet owner who experienced firsthand the frustration of limited treatment options for their own dog's cancer. This personal mission has grown into a corporate vision to provide broad access to advanced cancer treatment technology for pets. The central office in Bannockburn is the organizational backbone of this mission. It is where the logistical, administrative, and strategic planning takes place to support the various treatment centers. This unique structure allows PetCure to connect pet parents with the right specialists and the most effective treatments, no matter where their clinical locations are. The company is particularly known for its focus on Stereotactic Radiation (SRS/SRT), a non-surgical procedure that delivers high doses of radiation with unprecedented precision, offering a powerful option for many cancers once considered untreatable.
The PetCure Oncology Central Office is located at 2333 Waukegan Rd Suite 245, Bannockburn, IL 60015. While this is an administrative and corporate office and not a treatment facility, its location is a central point for the organization’s operations. The office is situated in a commercial area with accessibility features to accommodate all visitors. These features include a wheelchair-accessible car park, a wheelchair-accessible entrance, and a wheelchair-accessible toilet, ensuring that the space is welcoming and inclusive. It is important for pet owners to note that this location is not a hospital and does not provide on-site treatments for pets. All clinical services are provided at a PetCure-affiliated animal hospital. For this reason, a visit to this address requires an appointment and is typically for business or administrative purposes rather than for pet treatment.
While the Bannockburn office does not provide direct veterinary services, it supports a network of clinical locations that offer an extensive range of advanced cancer treatments for cats and dogs. The services are highly specialized and designed to combat pet cancer effectively while prioritizing the pet’s comfort and quality of life.
- Veterinary Oncology: The clinical teams are comprised of board-certified veterinary oncologists who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of pet cancer. They provide comprehensive care plans, from initial consultation to long-term management.
- Radiation Therapy: PetCure Oncology is a leader in advanced radiation therapy, including Stereotactic Radiation (SRS/SRT), which is a non-invasive, high-precision treatment that requires significantly fewer sessions than traditional methods.
- Advanced Imaging and Diagnostics: They use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, such as Computed Tomography (CT) scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds, to get a precise understanding of the tumor’s size, shape, and location, allowing for a highly customized treatment plan.
- Surgical Procedures: The veterinary team is skilled in various surgical procedures, including surgical removal and surgical resection of tumors, which is often a critical part of a pet’s treatment plan.
- Telehealth Visits: To make the process easier for pet parents, particularly those who travel long distances, they offer telehealth visits for consultations and checkups.
- Clinical Trials and Research: PetCure is actively involved in clinical trials and research to advance the field of veterinary oncology, bringing new and innovative treatments to pets in need.
- Compassionate and Supportive Care: The teams at the clinical locations understand the emotional toll of a cancer diagnosis. They provide not only medical care but also emotional support and guidance to pet parents, making the journey as manageable as possible.
PetCure Oncology's approach to veterinary cancer treatment is defined by several key features that set them apart in the field.
- National Leader in SRS/SRT: PetCure is recognized as the leading provider of Stereotactic Radiation Therapy for pets. This advanced technology offers a painless, non-surgical option with fewer side effects and fewer anesthetic events, which is a major benefit for older and senior pets.
- Network of Experts: Their structure allows them to connect pet parents with a team of highly experienced veterinary oncologists who work together to ensure the best possible treatment plan for each patient.
- Compassionate and Personalized Care: Despite being a large network, the focus is always on compassionate and personalized care. As one review highlighted, the team's "knowledge, expertise, and loving care" make a significant difference in the pet's and owner's experience.
- Focus on Quality of Life: PetCure's treatments are designed not just to fight cancer but also to preserve the pet's quality of life. The use of highly targeted radiation minimizes damage to healthy tissue and reduces side effects.
- Accessibility and Support: The company is committed to making advanced care more accessible. This is seen in their various locations and their use of telehealth visits, which help pet parents from across the country get the specialized care they need.

Choosing a cancer treatment for a pet is one of the most difficult decisions a family can make. While a negative review exists from a different clinical location, it is important to understand the broader context of PetCure's mission and the overwhelmingly positive experiences that many pet owners have had. The central office in Bannockburn supports a network that has treated thousands of pets with advanced, life-extending therapies. As one pet owner shared, the team provided "amazing" care, and their expertise and loving approach "made the whole process much easier." The negative review, while unfortunate, speaks to a specific experience at a different location and highlights the high financial and emotional stakes involved in pet cancer treatment. However, it should not overshadow the core mission and positive impact the organization has had on countless other families. PetCure Oncology's commitment to advanced technology, professional expertise, and compassionate care remains a powerful reason why pet owners in Illinois and across the country turn to them for hope in the face of a cancer diagnosis.

PetCure Oncology Central Office - Advanced Cancer Treatments for Cats & Dogs Reviews
My dog was treated by the PetCure Oncology team at Sage in Campbell. Everyone there was amazing in their knowledge, expertise, and loving care they provided my dog. Gemma was wonderful-she made the whole process much easier. I am grateful for the services provided by this group.
January 02 · mgreenbergdvmMy dog was diagnosed with a brain tumor in Washington state. I found PetCure Oncology online offering SRT radiation treatment. I contacted PetCure Oncology - San Jose for SRT Radiation treatment for my dog. Dr. Jones from PetCure Oncology talked with my neurologist and told me that they could treat my dog and to bring my dog down to them for treatment. They quoted me $13,653 for the treatment. They are located in Sage Veterinary Center in Campbell CA. I drove all the way from Washington to California. When I got there Dr. Jones was being negative about everything. I paid $3,838 for them to do their own CT scan and $2,266 for the first of three radiation treatments. After they did the first radiation treatment, two hours later my dog died. They would not refund me back the money I paid and on top of that they still expect me to pay them the remaining balance $7,549.
