Unlike traditional full-service veterinary hospitals, PetVet Vaccination Clinic focuses on making vaccinations, microchipping, and basic wellness checks both accessible and affordable, fitting into the busy schedules of local pet parents.
The operational model of PetVet Vaccination Clinic is designed for efficiency and convenience. They often operate as "community clinics" within local retail stores during designated days and hours. This pop-up style allows them to deliver essential preventive care without the overhead of a full veterinary practice, often resulting in lower costs for pet owners. Their emphasis is on transparent, upfront pricing with no office visit fees, which is a significant draw for those seeking to manage their pet healthcare budget effectively.
Positive experiences from local customers highlight the welcoming and professional environment they strive to create. One grateful client shared, "Staff was friendly and professional, yet made Buttons feel very comfortable! Will be back next year for more shots." Another echoed this sentiment, stating, "Everything went well. All the techs and the vet were very nice. Drake loves coming to the vet!" For residents of Cranberry Township and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania, PetVet Vaccination Clinic represents a practical solution for maintaining their pets' fundamental health protections, offering a reliable option for routine preventive care in a friendly setting.
---PetVet Vaccination Clinic is conveniently located at **20860 Rte 19, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066, USA**. This address places the clinic in a highly accessible area for residents throughout Cranberry Township and the broader northern suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Route 19 (Perry Highway) is a major commercial corridor that runs through Cranberry Township, connecting various communities and providing straightforward access from multiple directions. This strategic placement makes the clinic easily reachable whether you are traveling from other parts of Cranberry Township, Wexford, Mars, or even further south from the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The well-known nature of Route 19 simplifies navigation for both locals and those coming from a bit further afield.
Given that PetVet Vaccination Clinic often operates as a community clinic within larger retail spaces (like Tractor Supply Co. or other partner locations), the parking facilities associated with these retail establishments are typically ample and convenient. This reduces the stress of finding parking, which is a common concern for pet owners during vet visits. The clear and specific address ensures that GPS and online mapping services will guide you directly to the location without complication.
The ease of access is a significant advantage for a service focused on quick, walk-in or scheduled preventive care. It means that pet owners across Pennsylvania can readily bring their dogs and cats for essential vaccinations and wellness checks without undue travel burden, reinforcing the clinic's role as a valuable local resource for basic pet health needs.
---PetVet Vaccination Clinic primarily focuses on a specific range of essential wellness and preventive services for dogs and cats. Their operational model is built around making fundamental care accessible and affordable, rather than providing the extensive medical, surgical, or emergency treatments found at full-service veterinary hospitals. Based on their general service offerings, the key services provided at PetVet Vaccination Clinic locations typically include:
- Vaccinations: This is their core service. They offer a comprehensive array of core and lifestyle-dependent vaccines for dogs and cats, crucial for protecting pets against common and serious infectious diseases. This includes Rabies, Distemper (DAPPv/DHPP for dogs, FVRCP for cats), Bordetella, Leptospirosis, and Feline Leukemia (FeLV) vaccines, tailored to individual pet needs.
- Microchipping: Providing microchip implantation services, which are vital for permanent pet identification and significantly increase the chances of reunion should a pet become lost.
- Parasite Control and Testing: Offering tests for common parasites such as Heartworm (for dogs), Feline Leukemia/FIV (for cats), and intestinal parasite screenings (fecal tests). They also dispense and recommend various products for the prevention and treatment of fleas, ticks, and other internal parasites.
- Wellness Checks (Basic): A brief physical examination is often included with vaccination services, allowing the veterinarian to assess the pet's general health status. This is distinct from a comprehensive diagnostic exam required for sick pets.
- Deworming: Providing deworming treatments for puppies, kittens, and adult pets to address common intestinal parasites.
- Nail Trimming: A convenient supplementary service often available during clinic visits.
- Puppy and Kitten Wellness Packages: Often offer bundled service packages that include a series of necessary vaccinations and screenings for young pets, ensuring they get a healthy start in life.
It is important for pet owners to understand that PetVet Vaccination Clinic's services are specialized for preventive care. For pets exhibiting signs of illness, injury, or requiring surgical procedures, dental work beyond basic advice, or extensive diagnostic work-ups, a full-service veterinary hospital would be the appropriate choice. PetVet aims to complement, not replace, the comprehensive care provided by a primary veterinarian.
---PetVet Vaccination Clinic distinguishes itself through several key features and highlights that cater to the specific needs of pet owners seeking convenient and affordable preventive care in Pennsylvania:
- Specialized in Preventive Care: The most significant highlight is their focused expertise on vaccinations, microchipping, and parasite prevention. This specialization allows them to offer these vital services efficiently and effectively, making them a go-to for routine wellness needs.

This commitment to affordability makes essential preventive care more accessible to a wider range of pet owners in the local community.
- Convenient Community Clinic Model: By operating in easily accessible retail locations like those in Cranberry Township, PetVet offers a unique "pop-up" clinic experience. This provides significant convenience for pet owners, often allowing for walk-in services or easy scheduling for routine vaccinations.
- Friendly and Professional Staff: Customer reviews consistently highlight the positive demeanor of the clinic's team. Phrases like "Staff was friendly and professional" and "All the techs and the vet were very nice" emphasize their commitment to a pleasant client experience. This contributes to a comfortable atmosphere for both pets and their owners.
- Pet Comfort-Focused Approach: The staff actively works to make pets feel at ease during visits, as evidenced by one client noting they "made Buttons feel very comfortable!" Another reviewer stated, "Drake loves coming to the vet!" which is a strong indicator of a positive and low-stress environment for animals.
- Efficiency: The streamlined process typical of vaccination clinics allows for quick in-and-out visits for routine services, saving pet owners valuable time.
- Focus on Education: While providing direct services, the staff also offers advice, ensuring pet owners are informed about the importance of vaccinations and parasite prevention.
These features combine to create a service that is highly valuable for specific aspects of pet healthcare, particularly for those who appreciate convenience and transparent pricing for essential preventive measures.

Mar 07, 2025 · Gretchen FayWe took in our older cat and they not only fawned all over her, but conducted a thorough examination. After giving a preliminary diagnosis and telling us what they could offer would only take care of part of the problem, they recommended a great animal hospital instead and released her free of charge.Great people with empathy and knowledge. Highly recommend them.
Jun 14, 2024 · Jeremiah IonI’ve been taking both my dogs there since 2019 and I just recently discovered the they haven’t been giving one of my dogs the rabies shot since then therefore he’s been overdue since 2022. The butler office which is the closest is now closed and after waiting over an hour on customer service for assistance on why this has happened they told me that they couldn’t do anything and it’s probably because I never asked for one yet my other dog hasn’t gotten hers and is up to date until 2026. It’s a state law and apparently they have no regards to care about the state laws and protecting their customer's. Now I have to travel over an hour from my house to get this done and I was supposed to board my dogs this weekend and now I can’t board one of them because of this. Also the veterinarian that was at the butler location no longer works there that was there 2 weeks ago they claim. Pretty coincidental if you ask me. Will never be using these people again, I shouldn’t have to double check their work after paying hundreds of dollars.
Jul 02, 2024 · Morgan RichardsWas a great experience and very reasonable. Extremely nice/friendly, fast service and love how they talked to my dog showing their pet loving side and not only about business. We will definitely be back.
