Dr. Carol Hinkle was recommended to us from a previous client that worked with my wife. If you live or have grown up in Rural America chances are you have the ability to see the true hero’s in everyday life. I am not talking about all the characters we are fed to believe that want you to think they are “country”, but the actual folks that inspire future generations of doctors, cowboys, cowgirls, farmers, ranchers, scientists and firefighters. Dr. Carol Hinkle pulled up in the drive in her mobile rig, stepped up out of the truck and by the time I had managed to meet her she had changed from her coveralls and was ready to saddle back up. Her focused assistant Addie by her side they immediately listened to our situation with Pepper, our collie shephard dog from the farm. As they listened they were getting everything in to place. Losing a critter for us is losing a furry kid (regardless of age). We rescued Pepper while back when the neighbors down from the next square mile by our farm on the Kansas side sold their 400 acre farm and left Pepper to die with money in their hands to retire at Grand Lake. It took about six months of me walking down to get Pepper’s trust. It was worth every step. She became a member of what we call our Black dog clan (all of our furry kids have black for a coat). One of the hardest things for me is to make the decision in letting go of our clan when there are no other options. Doc Hinkle and Addie were absolutely professional, compassionate and country focused in helping Pepper go to sleep for Heaven where she will be when I arrive. As tears rolled down our faces they never broke professional discipline with compassion as we said goodbye and see you later to Pepper. I highly recommend Dr. Carol Hinkle DVM and her team to become your Doctor for all your critters. A few days later we received a card of condolescence and compassion for our loss from Doc Hinkle’s team. She and her team are the real deal. We have a saying in Cherokee that our last breath here on earth will be our first breath in Heaven. Wado. - Phillip Oyler

Rafter H Veterinary Services Introduce

For ranchers, farmers, and pet owners throughout the rural expanse of Copan and the wider Northeast Oklahoma region, **Rafter H Veterinary Services** provides an essential, specialized form of care. This practice is not a traditional brick-and-mortar clinic; it operates as a specialized **Mobile Practice**, bringing comprehensive veterinary services directly to your location. This model is exceptionally valuable to the Oklahoma lifestyle, allowing for the stress-free treatment of companion animals and the essential management of large livestock right on the farm or ranch.

The practice is led by **Dr. Carol Hinkle, DVM**, a veterinarian widely praised by the local community for her professionalism, deep compassion, and genuine 'country-focused' approach.
