- Doc and his stuff actually care about animals. They treat them wonderfully and are awesome to people as well. : ) This is the only vet we trust with our fur friends. August 02 · Dave Schulz
- This is an exceptional vet clinic. All of the staff are incredibly compassionate and the vet is very good at what he does. All of the staff are so compassionate and caring. Dr Huisman is above and beyond anything I could imagine in a vet. Barb and the tech are great also. So very compassionate when it's time to do the right thing for a pet and let them return to the Universe. I can't say enough about them.He makes me miss my NC vets, just a little bit less. - When we lived in Rock Rapids, we brought our rescue dog there and loved the friendliness of the vet and his staff. Since then, we've moved to South Dakota but still bring our always-changing menagerie to Doc and Barb. The half hour drive is worth it; no matter how many other vets we've visited, none are as kind and compassionate to our girls as Doc. Besides, it makes vet visits a lot less painful! July 15 · Sarah
- The vet is great but the office and surroundings made me a little concerned for cleanliness and sterilization. HOWEVER! This gentleman came in on a Sunday, on a whims notice, to help my baby who literally sliced her poor paw open. He didn't charge for an emergency visit, was unbelievably nice, fast, efficient, and was very tender with her and not once was I worried about letting go of her like I typically am. Great guy/vet! Extra star would be there but sterilization concerned me, but this was 2 years ago; may have updated :) GIVE HIM A CHANCE! November 19 · Mercedes Bozentko
- Love this vet! Everyone is super nice. Very helpful for my pets and Dr. Huisman is awesome! December 19 · Alena Barnes-Kruse
