★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1DeAnn & the rest of the folks at Southern Equine Veterinary Services really are the absolute best of the best. I was so worried about not being able to find a good vet when I moved to the area, and I’m so happy I was wrong. My horses and I are lifelong clients! I recommend SEVC to anyone and everyone looking for an honest, hardworking and reliable equine vet.
March 19 · Chelsie WardDr. Hughes is up to date on all aspects of horse issues! She is punctual and always available if there is an emergency. She gives thoughtful advice, and cares deeply about not only the horses she cares for but their owners. She is always in a good mood and happy to see us no matter what. Several times a year, she puts on really GOOD seminars in the evening, I have learned so much from them! I would highly recommend Dr. Hughes as your horse vet!
March 11 · Millie WilliamsDr. Hughes does an awesome job of caring for our horses and educating us as owners. Our daughter started showing a horse for 4-H and we had very little knowledge of horses. We couldn't have done it without her advice!
March 07 · jonathan atkinsI have a retired 28 year old OTTB in Kentucky at friends farm, and I live in Arizona, and I have had the pleasure of meeting both Deanne and Kelsey when I visit Glasgow KY and they are at the farm for a vet call or yearly maintenance. I recently had them out two times in a week to help my old man with an abscess and they are very experienced, calm and patient and do an amazing job, got my "Brave" man all fixed up and happy again. I would recommend them to ANY and ALL!!!.They are kind and patient and take the time to explain things whether in person or on the phone that they are doing or have done for my horse. I appreciate that very much.
August 02 · Michael KolesarI can't say enough about Dr. Ben Mitchell. I have literally looked all over the east coast to find someone that could help me navigate my horse's diagnosis of MFM. It's a condition that my local vet had no experience with and all of the vet clinics I called (about 12) wouldn't even return my call. Dr. Mitchell was kind enough to consult with me. After taking Dr. Mitchell's advice on treatment for my horse , my horse now looks great! I was considering euthanasia in August of this year and now you'd be hard pressed to know there is anything wrong with my horse. I am soooo grateful!
