★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can’t say enough good things about this veterinary office. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. They treat my pets like family, not just patients, and it’s clear that their love for animals is at the heart of everything they do.The veterinarians are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and always take the time to explain every detail of my pets’ health and treatment options. They never rush us and always make sure we leave feeling informed and confident. My dog Danny is very shy but seems to be totally at ease with the vet staff. My cats have also had a very at ease experience as well!
May 25 · Desiree AngleroWe were visiting from out of town when my dog cut a pad somehow. Southpaw was able to get us in quickly and took wonderful care of our dog. He needed some minor surgery and they were able to complete it without having to sedate the dog, which is great. The doctor and staff were very competent, fast, efficient, and loving to our pet. Overall it was a great experience, I would highly recommned this veterinary practice,
May 06 · Louis PeruginiI am SO glad I took my baby to this vet. My cat has been having some sudden and unexpected urinary issues and required surgery. And I can safely say I trust Southpaw completely with him. Every single person I have interacted with when taking him in (many times in the span of a few weeks) has been absolutely wonderful. Dr. Hannon has been especially amazing. She is incredibly knowledgable, thorough, empathetic, and comforting. My kitty’s treatment has been an emotional rollercoaster, but not once did I ever doubt that he was getting the best possible care. The whole office has been so proactive with keeping me updated and making sure I understand everything that’s been going on. Thank you to everyone at Southpaw for looking after my little guy 🖤
February 15 · Carleigh HopfI chose Southpaw because my brother and sister-in-law take their dog there, and I’m so glad they recommended them. They fit me into their schedule so that my puppy would get his shots on schedule while I’m in town helping family. Everyone on staff that I interacted with was more than polite and helpful. Pepino says thank you!
May 11 · Lauren ScaglioneSouthpaw has been the best vet from the first visit! My 11 year old cat that I’ve had since she was born was acting strange and peeing outside of her box often (she never did this previously). The two vets we visited before Southpaw told me it was “probably behavioral” and didn’t run tests, but I knew something was off. The first thing Southpaw did was run a blood/urine test and we found out she developed Diabetes! They guided me through the process, got her regulated, and are always informative if I have any questions both in and out of their office. They also follow up to check in and see how things have been since the appointment, which I’ve never experienced before, and should be a standard at other vet offices! The ladies at the front are very sweet, and every vet we have seen has made my cat feel very comfortable. Usually my cat gets anxious and skiddish going to the vet, like most animals I’m sure, but at Southpaw, she will literally lay down on the table, relax, let them pick her up and do their job without any hassle. We have seen two vets at this location, Dr. Hannon and Dr. Crus Castro, and they both have been wonderful, and I’m positive the other vets here are the same! I am super appreciative of their attentiveness and care for their clients and animals. We are moving to St. Pete soon and will still be coming here for all of my cats needs because I don’t trust other offices to provide the same care and don’t want to have to re-acclimate my cat to work well with another vet. Thank you for all your help!!
