The Grove addresses this directly by ensuring that clients are fully informed of all costs upfront. As noted by a long-term customer, the staff evaluates your pet, presents a clear estimate of every charge, and allows you to make decisions without judgment, even if you need to adjust the treatment plan to fit your budget. This level of transparency builds a strong sense of trust and ensures that you can make the best choices for your pet's health without being blindsided by a large bill.
What truly stands out about this Locust Grove establishment is the staff's dedication and emotional intelligence. The testimonials from clients are filled with praise for the team's ability to not only provide excellent medical care but also to show genuine empathy for the human-animal bond. One grateful client shared a powerful story about their dog, Doodle, who became gravely ill. The staff's quick diagnosis of diabetes, combined with their clear instructions and constant support, led to a full recovery, proving that their expertise is matched only by their compassion. This is the kind of care that makes a significant difference in a pet’s life and a family’s peace of mind.
The Grove Animal Hospital has also made a name for itself as a welcoming and inclusive space for all members of the community. In addition to a focus on pet wellness, they have created an environment that is LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safe space, with amenities like a gender-neutral restroom. This commitment to inclusivity ensures that every person who walks through their doors feels respected and comfortable. When you combine this with their professional, knowledgeable, and caring staff, it's clear why they are a top choice for so many Georgia residents. They are not just a veterinary hospital; they are a caring community partner dedicated to providing top-notch care for every pet and their owner.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1First let me say we didn’t think we would be bring our dog home, and it was nerve racking. We have been taking our pets here for over 10 years, and always treated with caring staff who are always ready to help with any given situation. Our Doodle became very sick very quick within three days had lost a lot of weight and wasn’t himself, they were able to see him same day, The doctor came in asked all the right questions allowed me to go over estimate and change tests without any judgment, they quickly knew he was a diabetic and provided us with insulin and explained how to give it, it’s been almost a week and we are happy to say he is doing 100% better and back to his demanding ways. We couldn’t be more pleased with the establishment and staff. As always We love this place fir their compassion of all pets and even their owners:)A huge Thank you for saving Doodle’
July 05 · john ottFormerly Woodland animal veterinary, first I have been taking my dogs here 10 plus years. This establishment is one of the best in GA. The staff are always going above and beyond to help. Every Veterinarian here are very knowledgeable, and compassionate to everyone’s situation, They actually listen to you and I love the fact that they evaluate your pet and you are always informed of each and every charge before anything is done and You have the last say on what you feel could possibly be taken off the procedures, which means it’s cost effective and you are never blindsided with a bill at the end, you will be informed up front. They never judge, they always try to help you and your pet the best way possible for your pocket and your pets health. No surprises, at top notch care with compassion. Great hours and walk-ins This is the place!!!
March 23 · Donna Robinson OttYesterday was one of the worst days of my life. My best friend was super sick and I knew before we even left to come to the vet that our best friend wasn’t coming home with us. Our typical vet wouldn’t see our beloved friend, leaving us scrambling to find somewhere that cared, and had time to fit us into our busy schedule. The front staff checked us in swiftly and compassionately. The building itself felt like a home and not a hospital. Even their other clients were so sweet praying with us. Our vet tech was amazing and so sweet despite me heartbroken. They made our final moments as comfortable and caring as possible. Even granting my odd final request to be outside when she passed. We will definitely be back (with happier circumstances) with our other girl.
May 03 · Morgan & David CallawayWonderful caring staff. Comfortable environment. Reasonable price for an emergency/urgent visit. Didn’t push any unnecessary X-rays or tests. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for helping my little Bowie get back to his old self! You guys rock!
June 30 · Bethany SchmidtThank you so much for being fast and friendly! I was so worried about my dog Gator being bitten by a snake. I did call ahead and the receptionist offered very fast and very friendly help even though she was already working with a customer! Thank you for working on my boy so fast and making me feel at ease by showing me that had made fast friends with the vet tech, sometimes he can be not so nice and hard to deal with but deep down he’s a big ol baby! We were given pricing and treatment options and even offered water, coke and coffee! We did call other places that were very nonchalant in stating “oh we don’t have an appt until Wednesday or our doctor just doesn’t have the availability to see your pet today 😱 he was bitten by a snake, this constitutes an emergency! The Grove said bring him in asap and we will take care of him!! From the phone call to the end payment for service you all were very fast, friendly and downright amazing! Thank you for all that you do!
