This meticulous approach, combined with impeccable record-keeping and clear communication, ensures that pet owners are fully informed about treatment options and feel confident in the care provided. What truly sets Dr. Johnson apart is her ability to connect with animals, even large and potentially intimidating breeds, making "fast friends" with them. Her specialized knowledge, particularly with "XL breeds" like Alaskan Malamutes, English Mastiffs, and Cane Corsos, fills a critical need for many large dog owners in Massachusetts. The Village Vet Housecalls, based in Hampden, MA 01036, USA, offers unparalleled accessibility through its very nature: veterinary care that comes to you. While our physical mailing address is 534 Main St #492, Hampden, MA 01036, USA, our primary service model is mobile, bringing comprehensive care directly to your home. This eliminates the challenges of transportation, anxious waiting rooms, and exposing your pet to other potentially stressed animals. For pet owners across Hampden, and extending throughout many communities in Massachusetts, this mobile service means that expert veterinary attention is just a phone call away, making it incredibly convenient for busy families, individuals with mobility challenges (like agoraphobia, as noted by a grateful client), multi-pet households, or pets who simply do not travel well.
The true accessibility of The Village Vet Housecalls lies in its commitment to serving a wide geographic area directly. You don't need to worry about driving directions or parking; instead, Dr. Johnson brings her clinic to you, at a scheduled time that suits your convenience. The Village Vet Housecalls Reviews
Dr. Johnson is a brilliant veterinarian and incredible human. When we moved our biggest concern was finding a new vet in this area. We have a house of 5 rescues, dogs and cats, and they are our family. Dr. Johnson took the time to carefully review each of their medical records, provided guidance and medical support for each of our pets unique needs. She is everything you want in a vet, caring, medically on point, detailed with impeccable record keeping, listens and communicates through medical treatment options, cares for your pets as her family and prices are always fair with your pets best interest in mind. Thank you, Dr. Johnson for being you! So grateful we found you.
Sep 17, 2024 · Tami Elaine PrinceI suffer from agoraphobia. So I have trouble leaving my house. I was looking for a vet that did house calls and and can deal with large breed dogs. As I have an Alaskan malamute, 2 English mastiffs, and a cane Corso. I emailed her told her about myself and the dogs I had. She emailed me back in a timely manner. She even helped me collect all of their vet records as I was having a hard time doing it!!(thank you so much for that!) Foxy, Moose, Luna and Boston all made fast friends with Dr. Johnson. She is very knowledgeable about my XL breeds. I would recommend to anyone!Thank you Village Vet,Angie, Foxy, Moose, Luna, and Boston

Feb 05, 2024 · Sue Marie DelpsMakes it so easy for me since I don't drive and disabled with dabiltating disease. It's more relaxing for the dogs and their well behaved. They love Dr. Jennifer Johnson.❤️
Nov 15, 2023 · DONNA BENOITDoc Johnson is FABULOUS. She is the first home Vet that we used, and is worth her weight in gold. She adapts to each of our dogs' personalities, lol. We've had regular physicals, vaccinations and she even got down and dirty trying to help me with nail trims. If you have a dog with anxiety, dog aggression, or transportation issues, having her to your home is the way to go. Unfortunately a couple years ago she needed to come help our miniature dachshund over the rainbow bridge. Endless compassion and patience. She went above and beyond for us when she noticed a copper colored paper (our boy's name was Copper) in her office and took a paw print for us. She delivered his ashes back to us and you can just *feel* her empathy. Highly highly recommend.
