TLC Pet Doctor Reviews
I do respect + admire Dr. Karen Negrin for her work but as for their care for your pets overall, I think it leaves something to be desired. Not very friendly and not warm or encouraging towards my pet.Another thing is for many months now the whole place smells like dogs doo + they don't remove the odor.
Mar 28, 2025 · Rebecca LamannaPlease, do not go to this place! When I was attended to, they didn't even greet me or ask what was wrong with my dog. The veterinarian (if you can even call her that) and her receptionist, who was supposed to be her assistant holding my dog while he was being examined, were also very disrespectful. While holding my dog, I leaned in to hold his face so he wouldn't move too much. When I did that, the receptionist told me that extra hands don't help keep the dog still. But it was the way she said it... At that moment, the veterinarian tried to put eye drops in my dog’s eye and she seemed scared because my dog was getting aggressive due to the discomfort. I told her that he reacts the same way when I try to clean his ears. She responded that without the drops, she couldn’t know what was wrong with his eye (she still seemed annoyed when saying this). I then asked if she could put a muzzle on him because I imagined she was afraid he might bite her. She went to look for a muzzle (a fabric one) and I asked if she had a metal one instead. She said that he would still try to bite her… (again, responding angrily). In the end, my dog allowed the drops and the medication to be put in his eye. I asked her to make sure I put the cream on correctly when I do it at home, even though I saw how she applied the drops, I just wanted to ask where exactly on the eye to apply the cream. She responded (but I already showed you). Again, in a rude manner. In conclusion, these people were very disrespectful and unprofessional. I felt very attacked during the visit. I would not recommend anyone go to this place.
Nov 23, 2024 · Lina JuncaI have called numerous times and left just as many messages, have not gotten a response back. Very unprofessional, hard to have confidence in a vet who is harder to reach and shows no caring or emotional support. How can you be considered a veterinarian if you're only open 10 hours out the entire week???
Feb 18, 2025 · Pet GroomingI took my dog here for an emergency and this was the only place (and I called 15 places) that would see here same day on such short notice. And thank goodness the vet there could see me, or else my dog may have never regained full mobility. The vet was super kind and explained what she was doing and why every step of the way. She didn't do any unnecessary procedures that rack your bill up. The whole visit cost less than the fee one place was trying to charge me just to be seen same day. I will definitely be taking my dog back here. It's so refreshing to find a vet who actually loves what she does and cares about your pet. And now my pet is back to normal!
